Flavours are ok, definitely recommend consuming with water. Gives both a good caffeine and carb boost during strenuous activity (running) a good pick me up before the fuel tank runs out. Easy to open while running and small enough to carry a couple or more on adventures. GU has been around for years so they are doing something right, maybe becoming a bit more cost effective is the only thing they could improve on and maybe an edible foil pouch…kidding!

I am training for the marathon and wanted a gel for my long run and the race. These were the most affordable ones so I bought these and they are so good. The taste is very good and texture is like gel. If you want more solid texture put it in the fridge the night before. They also have a variety of caffeine content so you can mix and match when running. They are kind of sticky but I like it. While running, they are very easy to open and take even when your hands are sweaty. Will recommend.

New to gel so this is my new experience. Bought the sample variety box (24 count) and so far have tried two flavours.
Performance:
Took a pack first thing in the morning before heading out for split interval session. Did not feel hungry or lack in energy.
The 2nd time I tried was in the late afternoon, at least 3 hours after my last meal. The 12km base run was super easy and I felt more energetic than usual.
Taste:
Strawberry banana was nice, but Blackcurrent was quite awful. It is also quite thick, so you will have to pair it with some water.
I look forward to bringing it out during longer runs.
