Okay, so I’m giving this a 4 star because I could not get past the taste. I have gotten past many tastes, but this is something I could not do more than once. It’s an squired taste for sure. I’m sure this is a quality product for what it is. It came perfectly packaged cold and all. Please do not, not try it because of my review. If you feel this will benefit your health, give it a try. I found that cran-grape juice got rid of the taste after I tried it in case anyone is up for the task. Hope this helps.

I was looking to find new & natural ways to give me more energy & at 52 yrs young- its a constant search. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this Greenbow product not only met my expectations , but far exceeded them. I found a website that shared facial mask ideas using royal jelly & pearl powder. I didn’t have the pearl powder yet, so I just used my aloe vera from my garden & mixed a teeny bit of the royal jelly with the aloe & put it on my cleansed face for 25 minutes. I was amazed at how wonderful my skin looked after & will NEVER go without it!!! I’m not kidding!!! worked better than my Dr. script $100 cream!!! Now, the taste is hard to get past, but I mix it with a teaspoon of honey & it goes down much smoother!!! the energy I get from it is great as well, the benefits of this royal jelly go far beyond energy. thanks for a great product.

The fresh royal jelly is another great quality product I have tried from Greenbow. I ordered at first just to try the small jar (which is very expensive for the tiny quantity). I like to incorporate product from the hive (bee pollen, royal jelly) in my supplement routine, especially in the changing of the seasons; it’s an extra boost of minerals and amino acids, along with helping me relieve seasonal allergies.
The royal jelly has a quite thick consistency, but still runny. It has the typical royal jelly flavor, with medium-strong strength, a little tingly, fresh, but rich taste. Most people won’t consider the taste delicious, but I personally enjoy it; picky eaters might like better the honey with royal jelly the brand also offer.
Side note: It was in a delivery box, within a styrofoam cube (without ice), wrapped in bubble wrap and a napkin/paper. The amount of packaging compared to the small jar was incredibly ridiculous. On the positive note, there’s no chance this will broke in transit. It also come with 2 plastic spoons, great for scooping the product.

This Royal Jelly is for sure the best one I’ve ever purchased online. It arrived just in 2 days which happily surprised me! I immediately opened the box and tried it. The taste is like mostly described as astringent, dry, slightly bitter and leaving an aftertaste. I take a half of teaspoon every morning to boost my immune system. You can eat it raw, add it to honey as a spread on a toast, in your tea or in your morning smoothie. The additional cute plastic spoons and the informative brochure really adds up to the positive impression. I definitely recommend this product and brand!

It may just be me, but it tasted awful. I tried it on a healing scar and it was just sticky so I washed it off. I put it in my fridge and forgot about it. When I saw it again I cringed because I’m throwing it away. I’m completely blaming myself on lack of research before trying it.

It is best to refrigerate the product once you receive it. Then remove a tiny amount at a time with a clean object, I use a bread knife tip. A tiny amount goes a long way. However, it immediately starts to dry so apply it to area to be treated quickly with your clean finger tip. When handled properly it lasts for a very long time in the refrigerator.

I discovered using royal jelly on my face when I used to use jafra cosmetics, which contained it. Then I got the wise idea of just using straight royal jelly on my face. I started out using softgels that I got from puritan’s pride, which worked well under another moisturizer (shea butter with essential oils).
then I decided to make sure I am getting the real thing and bought this, but have found to my dismay that firstly, it didn’t have the smell I’d gotten used to from the p.p. product; there’s seemingly no fragrance! That’s not too bad; maybe the p.p. product had something else that I thought was r.j. Anyway, the bad thing was that it felt sticky when going on the face, then quickly became tight and dry; almost powdery! When I put shea butter over it, it just clumps into pieces and continues to feel very dry; after I’m done trying to smooth it all in, when I feel my face it feels powdery with bits of something falling off. Needless to say, it feels like it’s not doing what it should do-moisturize my face, and make it feel softer.
I’m going to contact greenbow and ask about this; maybe real r.j. is not meant to be used on the skin, and the other products were fake.
