My cat has issues with digestion and frequently vomits. When I read about Slippery Elm, I bought a bottle and hoped for the best. The syrup is thick, very sticky and sweet. My cat loathes it. That said, it does the trick! She keeps it and the food down. One word of caution: a little goes a long way. I gave my cat a bit too much, and she threw it up. Lesson learned. I mentioned this product to my vet. He had never heard about it, so he did some research. When I talked to him, he laughed and said that it seems to cure just about anything. I wouldn’t go THAT far, but for tummy problems, it works!

My 9 year female cat, had been vomiting for 5 days after every meal and lost her appetite. I Changed her food for a sensitive stomach, but to no avail. I tried this product, put a some in her drinking water to coat her digestive lining. It worked and she recovered in about 2 days, but showed improvement the first day! The frequency of vomiting decreased and on the second day she was able to eat small amounts. Today she is back to normal. I Highly recommend this slippery elm.
I also used Jackson Galaxy’s probiotics with enzymes for cats, sprinkled on her food when she began eating again.

While this seems to help my dogs excess acid in his stomach it is hard to know how much I am giving. There is no way to get the viscous solution up into the dropper. Plan on using measuring spoons. Very poor planning on the manufacturers part

The flavor of this product is great it’s extremely mild and adds little to no flavor when mix with water.A friend told me that slippery elm was great to increase vaginal lubrication naturally. I noticed the difference in three days. She was right.!! After having a womans sugery last year I experienced a decrease in lubrication down there .
