Love this stuff! Great for brass and woodwind musicians as it has arnica in it. This helps with bruising and really helps when your chops are tired. Also it has a great scent, is long lasting and the gold version has spf 15. Made in the USA too so you’re helping a local business (if you live in the states!). I’m a bit of a lip balm enthusiast. My daughter and I both have chronically dry lips. We have tried everything from the lowly Chapstick brand, the EOS ones in every formulation, Burt’s Bees, Carmex, etc. right up to $25 a pot Laniege overnight lip masks. Right off, Chop Savers glides on without any drag that you sometimes get with waxier balm formulas. It feels almost creamy without being goopy or sticky. It also doesn’t ball up and hang out in the corners of your mouth like some will. My kiddo and I both put in a thick layer before bed. This morning both our lips were much improved and I was able to gently scrub off a layer of dead skin without any pain. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the scent.

This is a go-to stocking stuffer for my family. Three of us are musicians and we need soft, smooth lips to play. This stuff works. It really works. The flavor/aroma isn’t overpowering, just a nice little citrusy small. It goes on easily and stays in place. I get a pack of 6 and share them around all the stockings. Even my sons, who are musicians but don’t like “girly” stuff swear by ChopSaver. We like this orange packaging better than the green packaging from last year – the aroma is not as strong, and the product seems to be more creamy and smooth, making it more enjoyable to wear. After a day of music lessons, rehearsals, and playing, this stuff takes my sore, tired, dried out lips and restores them. Wonderful product! Keep making the orange version available, please!
