This moisturizer is a thin, white cream, almost the consistency of a serum. It glides on and spreads easily so that I didn’t need to use much to cover my face and neck. Although this is not greasy, and it is lighter than some other moisturizers, I did feel there was still a thin layer left on skin even after most of it had absorbed in.
It does feel hydrating, and I noticed when I used this overnight, my skin did feel soft, and it didn’t have any dry patches in the morning.
The scent starts off like a sweet almond scent, but overly sweet. Then the ylang ylang comes through faintly, not overpowering the way it can be. As it dries, it fades to an orange scent, but it’s a sour/metallic orange, not a sweet, juicy orange. I just did not love the scent overall.
This comes in a small bottle with a pump dispenser.

This Good Faith – Softening Moisturizer with Plant-Derived Squalane – 1.7 fl. oz – Hydrating Face Cream – Replenishes Dehydrated Skin. I get the full effect that I am looking for in a skincare line. The dewy products that a 66-year-old desires. I am not able to get a lot of other skincare lines to perform like this. The ingredients are more healthy and ethical. Vitamin C might be the subtle scent I am detecting in the serum. I have the toner that imparts moisture. I put this on after using the cleanser, which is lovely, also imparting moisture. Then I apply the eye cream with caffeine, which feels cooling. My undereye dark circles and bags are ready for prime time. I like the serum to come next. Then I put on the softening moisturizer with plant-derived squalane. This product is quite remarkable too. Very smooth and soothing. Sometimes I wait for my skin to dry after all of that and apply face oil to the wrinkles to make any concealer application more smooth and moist.
I do feel my face and neck feel better after using these products; it is just that if I do not put oil on the wrinkles, that is the little touch that will help me thin the concealer’s application. I put it under my eyes, and then these crepey areas and dark circles will not stand out too much. I am thinking of getting the concealer in the shade darker, so maybe it will allow me to skip that last step. I also have an alternative; wrinkle “fill-in stick primer,” which is supposed to help subdue those flaws even more before application. I use a cream bronzer and a dot of bright blush. I apply eye shadow and maybe a bit of mascara. Not too much, to flatter and not overpowering. My skin is smooth and feels healthy. Before bed, I use a night cream. I like the ones that absorb well, not making an oily mess. I still notice the dark circles, bags under my eyes, and wrinkles underneath my upper facial cheeks in the morning.
These products will be as helpful as many of the great ones I have used. I can wash these products off gently with a remover or even a wet cloth. I will put on night cream before my head hits the pillow.
I love these items, which have value. They are worth the money and are in pretty boxes for gifting, even if you get one thing to honor a birthday or any other holiday.
Enjoy!

This is a really good cream p! It comes in a pump dispenser. It is a a thin consistency, almost like a gel water cream consistency. It has an orange type scent. It isn’t too strong. It glides onto the skin easily. A little goes a long way. It absorbs quickly without leaving a tacky feeling. But, it dies leave kind of a film on the skin sometimes, which doesn’t make it a great daytime moisturizer for me because then it pills up when I apply makeup over it. I’ve played around with it a lot to try to avoid that film and the only way to do it for the most part it to only use the tiniest amount, but even then sometimes it’ll pull up when I do my makeup so then I need to start all over. For my normal to dry skin with some extremely dry areas, this isn’t moisturizing enough to use as my night cream. I got it to use as my daytime cream, which means under my makeup. Since I can’t really do that, it doesn’t work for me. I had high hopes because it has mostly great ingredients. But, I just don’t like having to worry about it pulling up under my makeup and needing to start over. So, unfortunately, this doesn’t work for me.
Overview of ingredients…
It has a lot of good ingredients:
Squalane, which is a great moisturizer that makes skin smooth without being too heavy or greasy. It is pretty much compatible with all skin types and skin conditions! It’s great for acne prone skin! It is also a detoxifier. Regular use of squalane can boost collagen production, leading to firming skin.
Glycerin, which is a great moisturizer for the skin, helps protect skin against irritation and restore skin barrier
Betaine, which is a sugar beet derived amino acid derivative with nice skin protection and moisturization properties. Betain’s special thing is being an osmolyte, a molecule that helps to control cell-water balance. It is also a natural osmoprotectant, meaning that it attracts water away from the protein surface and thus protects them from denaturation and increases their thermodynamic stability.
Sodium Hyaluronate, which is a form of hyaluronic acid. Helps skin hold onto water, making skin more plump and elastic.
Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate, which are esters. Cetearyl olivate comes from Cetearyl alcohol and the fatty acids of olive oil. Sorbitan olivate comes from sorbitol and the fatty acids of olive oil. The two together form the well-known, natural emulsifier trade named Olivem 1000. Other than helping oil and water to blend, the main thing of Olivem 1000 is generating liquid crystal structures that are similar to the lipid structures of the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the skin). Thanks to this, Olivem 1000 doubles as an active ingredient with significant moisturizing, barrier-repairing and soothing properties.
Some not so good ingredients…
Dimethicone – It’s just the one silicone. But, if you don’t like silicones in your products, you might want to skip this product.
Orange Peel Oil – Essential oil coming from rind of orange. The main component of citrus peel oils like orange peel oil is limonene, which is a really common fragrant ingredient that smells like but counts as a frequent skin sensitizer. It also contains contains compounds that are mildly phototoxic. Orange peel oil contains less of it than some other citruses, but you should be careful using products with this in it, especially if using during daytime. On the plus side, similar to other essential oils, grapefruit peel has antibacterial and antifungal activity.
Ylang Ylang Flower Oil – Ylang Ylang oil main components are fragrant molecules that add up to a max amount of 37.6% of EU sensitized. Other than smelling nice, it may have some antimicrobial and antioxidant benefits. On the other hand, the nice smell also means allergen fragrant components and 37.6% of EU sensitizers counts as quite high and the oil is considered to have high skin sensitization potential. It is a good idea to avoid if your skin is sensitive.
Limonene and Linalool – These are super common and cheap fragrance ingredients. They smell nice, but the problem is that they oxidize on air exposure and the resulting stuff is not good for the skin. When oxidized, they can cause allergic contact dermatitis and count as a frequent skin sensitizer.
