At my local health food store I was paying $3 per bar which is ridiculous. These are still steep in price but I save $9 per case with this purchase. I appreciate this very much.
I very much like the taste and texture of the peanut protein bars and actually find myself craving them. I cannot tolerate 8 grams of fat in one sitting as yet, but I am hopeful that I will be better able to do so in the near future. Meanwhile, these bars save me and offer what little protein I can tolerate these days.

I love macro bars as a morning or afternoon snack. It gives you a nice adequate amount of protein, carbs and fats to satisfy hunger and satiate you between meals. This is an item I purchase on the regular.

Great tasting protein bar. I really do love it … though $43 is a bit over priced for an order of 15 it seems to me. I have bought this on amazon before, for $35 which seemed more reasonable. As currently priced, I’m reminded that 2TBSP of peanut butter equals just about as much protein as this bar.

I am gluten intolerant and this bar suits my needs perfectly. It’s not very sweet, but it’s satisfyingly sweet enough to taste really good and has a definite peanut butter flavor… It’s a perfect “go to” snack when I don’t want to
indulge in rich desserts but am just craving something tasty. I often eat a bar in the movies and don’t feel deprived knowing that other people are eating candy….. The peanut butter is my favorite flavor. You need to be careful when buying these Macrobars as some of these bars are made with gluten sweeteners like barley malt. When I saw these bars for the first time, displayed in a health food store in another state, I had a difficult time distinguishing the gluten free bars from the regular ones. I’m not following a macrobiotic diet, but I like knowing that this bar
is a very healthy gluten free option to eating a quick meal on the go. It’s not always easy to find totally gluten free meals away from home,….so, I always keep a Macrobar in my purse just in case I’m feeling hungry.

If you like peanut butter, you will LOVE these bars! They are delicious, nutrient dense – filling!, and good for you. I almost always have one of these bars with me at all times, and, all the people I’ve shared them with have become hooked as well! Many “pro’s” to these bars, with the downside being the price… that’s why I order these in bulk, as opposed to in individually in the grocery store. Could not recommend these bars more, and will certainly be ordering more.

I couldn’t find this item in any local stores, even when I used a location search on the product website. But someone had given me one of these bars and I really liked it. If you like chewing your protein bar, and it’s not dry, but it’s more like a gnawing away on something, just really chewy, then this is the one you will like. The flavor is very mild and has an aftertaste, but presumably you like peanut butter or you wouldn’t be opting for this flavor anyway.
