I hope this isn’t too much information but I’m going to reveal my initial reason for purchasing this powder with the hope it will be helpful to others with the same problem. I developed a yeast infection in the skin crease under my breasts. Yeast infections itch relentlessly but I did not wish to apply Monistat Cream in that area as I thought it would be too messy. My cousin told me she had the same problem & bought this powder to apply after her shower & before bed. Problem solved! Not only was the powder soothing but the yeast infection cleared up completely & has not returned. And, WOW, does this powder ever smell fabulous! If a cologne was available in this same scent I would purchase it & wear it every day. This is the best powder I have ever used & now I cannot live without it.

My son and I love this stuff. It has a great smell and texture and does not cause any tingling that so many other products do, for which I have no explanation. I can see no reason why having my “stuff” tingle would be a good thing. I tried a few other products because I was having problems finding this one consistently at CVS, Walgreens and Kroger, where I shop, and they all seem to cause some sort of uncomfortable feeling that I suspect is supposed to make you think it’s working better?
Not buying that one bit.
In fact, is appears Gold Bond has come up with a very similar product that is in a black bottle which I tried. Holly crap….I felt like I had put menthol on my stuff. Not a pleasant experience.
I highly recommend this product. If you are using something that stings or causes tingling, you are falling for a bunch of hype in my opinion. Try this stuff….you will not be disappointed. Give your boys a break.

Love this powder. Been using it for years. It goes on and makes your skin feel like silk, while at the same time it is great for absorbing moisture and/or perspiration. No more stains from the ingredients in deodorants and anti-perspirants. I have been able to replace that toiletry with this product, and I stay dry and odor free all day… and my clothes don’t end up with that permanent stain on the fabric near the armpit. Very pleasant, fresh scent. I’m very sensitive to fragrances, and I don’t find that this leaves a lingering scent, shortly after it is applied. I would say that the fragrance is unisex, mostly because after a few minutes any fragrance disappears, unlike the medicated version of the gold bond powder.

Smells great, and feels wonderful after a shower. Keeps those bat wings away!
Problem-Solution –
I like this powder, but that’s as far as I can go with it. I like the Men’s Shower to Shower Sport much better – here’s why: 1) the smell is not masculine at all – not full on baby powder or feminine smell, but nowhere near as masculine as the Shower to Shower Sport powder. 2) This powder seems finer than others I’ve used except for some of the “barber” powders like Clubman – this is good and bad – it tends to cloud up more and make a mess. 3) It just doesn’t keep me as dry as the Shower to Shower or other powders I’ve used like Clubman or Stephans – all of which are pure talc and not corn starch. This being the case, I think I will go back to Shower to Shower Sport. I know of the risks – it seems that it’s more for women and only if they put it in or directly on their “special areas”. I’ve not seen any studies showing men are at risk using talc. So, these will go out in the garage and I’ll use them for my hands when I lift.
