This is my second child to breastfeed and I have tried nearly every supplement you can find to help boost supply. His one absolutely is the best I’ve found. It works for me within a day, and I found I don’t really need to take the whole dose for it to work. At first I does make me a bit gassy but after the first week of taking it daily that goes away. I’ve bought this twice now and will continue too until I’m done breastfeeding. It’s a good buy!

My IBCLC recommended that I take goats rue, but only a specific brand that has liquid capsules. I took those for several months but was curious if this brand would work for less than half the price. I’m happy to report that I’ve not seen a decrease in my supply, so I’m already on my 3rd bottle of this brand.
So in summary…it works and is a great value.

I am using this Goats rue to increase milk supply. I wasn’t sure at first if it was making a difference because I’m also taking other supplements. However, one day I missed a dose and could tell once I started taking them again that my milk increased. I think it is helping me!

I had used other goats rue supplements, so not sure why but this one made me incredibly sick. I thought I had eaten something bad. Started with stomach upset within 30 minutes of taking it, cramping, then after about an hour I threw up harder than I have in a long time, got severely dizzy, headache… Did not take them on an empty stomach but it took me about 8 hours to recover, and felt very drained. I didn’t know the supplements were responsible. I took them a second time a few days later and had the same result.
Be careful with these. They might make you very sick.

I tried the Goat’s Rue to increase breast milk supply at the advice of the labor and delivery Dr’s. I gave it about 10 days with no increase. I added in Fenugreek and noticed a small increase. When my bottle of Goat’s Rue ran out, I stopped taking it and didn’t notice a drop either. This didn’t seem to do anything for me.

I cannot comment on if this product works because it is a herbal supplement without hard evidence that it supports lactation, which is what I bought it for. I can say, however, that I took it during a time when my milk supply was where I wanted it to be at and it did not affect my supply negatively. I didn’t experience any adverse effects from taking it and the pills are easy to swallow. That is enough for me to consider this a good product.

I bought these supplements because I heard it helps increase milk production. It has a decent taste, easy to take in my opinion but I’ve never had a hard time taking pills, if you do then it might be hard, they’re a decent size. Definitely want to take with water.
