Easy to use, good flavor, effective. I recommend it.

I take this with a micro dose of melatonin before bed at night. Seems to help me relax and get to sleep quickly.

My doctor recommended GNC brand L’theanine a few years back and I’ve taken it ever since. It helps me sleep, helps anxiety, and, when taken with caffeine, helps reduce the jitters and promotes focus! Great stuff!

After having learned l-theanine was the active component in green tea which combined with the caffeine helps with concentration and focus, further research showed that it was a natural relaxant when used on its own. Working nights, it is hard sometimes on the weekend to get to sleep earlier than during the work week. Normally, you’d either sleep your weekend away or you’d push through and deal with the foggy haze that comes with sleep deprivation.
That’s where l-theanine comes in. You don’t need an empty stomach but the efficacy is definitely inhibited if you’ve just eaten. Taken about an hour to an hour and a half before your desired bedtime and you should be able to go to sleep no problem.
I’ve heard you can build a tolerance so daily dosing isn’t recommended. As above stated I use them on weekends, mainly when I’ve got to get to sleep earlier than normal to do something the next day.
I’ve tried several brands and have found GNC’s to be the best. No side effects.

I first tried GNC’s L-Theanine when I wanted to try the supplement for the first time. I then switched to another brand of Suntheanine, and I immediately noticed a decrease in effectiveness.
If you want to try L-Theanine for anxiety-related symptoms, or if you’ve tried other brands and haven’t liked them, I would definitely suggest this one.

There are a ton of companies I’ve never heard of selling this same product, but honestly it’s hard to tell the quality of the supplements you’re buying. I trust GNC and have been using their products for years.

I was a little concerned ordering when I saw GNC changed the branding, but this is still the classic product! No difference in the supplement itself.
