The bottle arrived with a prop 65 warning on it. But the transaction and item page had not contained a warning, in violation of california law. In taking one pill, a sharp pain started immediate, and as the pill was metabolized a sedated effect set in.

I have had a fantastic experience with these glucosamine sulfate (which is another name for glucosamine) capsules. I’ve depended on glucosamine to help with sore joints. As someone who has to climb a lot of stairs each and every day (going both up and down), I’ve found that my knees become sore eventually. Taking glucosamine has really helped lessen the discomfort (which is sometimes really painful) I’ve experienced. Which helps me feel as though I have more stamina for the day.
Premier Labs’ glucosamine sulfate capsules are medium-sized and easy to swallow with liquid. The capsules don’t contain any shellfish components in their ingredients, and the products are GMO-free and kosher certified. The bottle recommends that you take two capsules twice daily (so four capsules throughout the day). I’ve found this to be easy to do. And it’s been a great experience for my joints, especially my knees.

I am pretty well sold on Premier’s quality, and I have a good track record with glucosamine sulfate as a supplement for joint pain. For my money, it is the one ingredient to use, and while I can’t say for certain it works, I have had good results when taking it. I say that because who knows what other factors are doing what. When I’ve had aching knees in the past, for example, I’ve taken glucosamine but also wrapped my knees when squatting, for example. That said, taken as directed, these will get you 750 mg. of glucosamine sulfate, plus 110 mg. of potassium, which is only 2% of the RDA, but works with the supplement and adds to your daily total. The recommendation is to take two capsules twice a day, so a bottle will last a month doing that. In my experience, it is best to take quality glucosamine at recommended dosages until the pain alleviates, then cycle off it. So, for the money, a months supply is not bad and should be all you need to see some difference.

The dosage is two tablets, which the label says provides 2% of the daily value needed for potassium, in addition to 750 mg of Glucosamine Sulfate. There are 120 capsules, so this is a 60-day supply.
These capsules are manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facility, which is certified by the FDA as using responsible manufacturing methods. It also non-GMO, which means they are natural.
All in all, these seems to be responsibly made glucosamine sulfate supplements.

Premier Research Labs glucosamine sulfate came in a 120-count bottle with two capsules a serving. Each serving contained 750 mg of glucosamine sulfate and an additional 110 mg of potassium.
I found the capsules easy to swallow and do think the value is a positive factor as unlike some brands, it will last one at least two months for the cost. One drawback however is the dosage, as it is much lower than others I have taken that have had almost twice the milligrams of active ingredient.
Still, I found it an acceptable and reasonably priced option for those who want to take a glucosamine supplement, which has helped me in the past, but for new users might take a month or two to see any benefits as I’ve found it is a substance that must build up in the body over time.

As we all well know I do not like to review vitamins or supplements, nor do I want to buy them from unknowns. But, after carefully researching the premier labs, I decided to try it. My husband has been taking some form or other of glucosamine for years. It helps his joints. So he has been taking this one for about a month now and it works great. He even lowered the recommended serving to one tablet daily. Again, this is a personal review for what has been working for him. Use common sense and talk to your doctor before you start using this with other meds.
