I had a terrible boil on my thigh. It hurt to even walk. I could not take the pain anymore so I purchased this ointment. To say the least, I am very satisfied. It took two days to reap the benefits but it was definitely worth it.
I started by cleaning the area. Disinfecting the area. Then on a cotton pad I would apply the ointment then a fresh bandaid. I did this 3 times a day for two days and it practically popped on it’s own. I gave it a 4 stars because it will stain your clothing unfortunately so really make sure you cover the area of wear old clothing. There is no smell and it’s very easy to apply so that is a bonus.

I used this on the embedded glass in my foot, and after 3 days of reapplying the ointment every 8-10 hours and changing the bandage, the glass came out. Now I’m using it on deeply clogged pores, and it’s working. These are pores that have been overlooked in the past and are now packed like cement. Its loosened it up and moving it’s way out. This will remain in my medicine inventory, an absolute must have. 20% is the best.

I have suffered from HS for over 20 years. Many surgeries, 3 days in the hospital with IV drip antibiotics and so many painful days where I could not even walk. My general practitioner doctor said hey. Why don’t you get hair removal surgery to help this and it did. And I recommend that too, to anyone suffering from HS. Please get the laser hair removal. I wish I would have done it years ago. But, I also started taking a natural supplement for anxiety and stress relief. And I want to say that it is 100% a stress relief and I am still taking it. I’m only taking one pill a day. That being said, ASHWAGANHA, very much is a stress reliever. It also grows hair. It increases the hormone that also will unfortunately make your HS flame up.
Please do the research and I’m sure you will if you have this condition.
So what I want to say is that this ointment is a GODSEND and I wish I would have known about it 20 years ago. I was on my fifth treatment of hair removal to control HS. I was completely free of any problems until I started taking the anxiety and stress relief Ashwaganda. I immediately got three cyst on the creases of the trunks of my legs…. This is not happened to me in 10 years. I am not a scientist or a doctor but I absolutely believe it was from the supplement that I was taking and if you research it, you will find out that it increases testosterone. Using this ointment for 2 days cured me of my cyst. I wish I would have known about this SO long ago. It would have saved me so much trauma, hurt, and embarrassment. It does smell weird and it will stain your clothes. So just deal with it. It’s so much easier to deal with that than what you’re going through right now. Bless you all and I hope this helps you. HS is a debilitating disease.

I will always keep a tube of this in my med drawer. I got for a boil that came up about a week ago or so and it’s fine now. Daily use changing 2-3 x a day and washing area 1x a day with antibacterial soap (I bought suave liquid antibacterial body wash) then apply salve and bandage. I used gauze and med tape + to prevent staining my clothing I oversized my gauze as well. Especially at night for sleeping. After about 2 days it was so small I could barely tell it was there anymore. Not swollen tender or discolored purplish anymore. But kept treating area still. Now it’s either gone or so small I can’t see or feel anymore. I’m not prone to boils and this was my first one. I did some research and this was most recommended product for them. Being 20% ichthamal made it best to the rest of products I found with only 10% and cost more too. Some a lot more… so don’t be fooled. This is all u need!!

Insect bites stings ingrown hairs minor cuts and scrapes. Splinters too.
It’s a drawing salve and it literally draws out the bad stuff. Tho my boil never leaked… it just shrank and then went away. Doesn’t mean urs won’t leak tho… I was expecting it too but I did catch mine early too. Never squeezed it or even tried to pop it or nothin and it went away on its own using this salve as I’ve described.

It’s kinda oily.
It’s dark brown almost black like tar.
Thick until skins warms it and it gets lil thinner …again it’s kinda oily.
Meaning …
It will stain ur clothing.
Possibly ur skin too if not cleaning area properly or regularly while using. Didnt stain mine tho.
Overall I was in awe about this stuff… especially that it was so good and I’d never heard of or used before.
It’s like magic in a tube and in seriously mean that…. At least in my case it was.
And for $6.99 I’ll keep buying this for life to always have on hand.
I consider this in my top 10 Amazon finds of all time!!

I had a wood splinter that was lodged in the pad on the bottom of my foot for about two weeks. I remembered that Mama used a “black salve” to “draw” under bandages in the late 1950s and 60s, so I ordered this. My splinter was drawn out in less than 48 hours. I changed the bandaid after each shower and replaced. After the 4th shower, I dried the pad of my foot and used a razor lightly over the area. It removed a bit of skin and then I saw the splinter in the shavings 🙂 I reapplied the Ichthammol and placed a bandaid just to be sure no infection.
