Both my husband and I have gone through a few bottles of this and both of us have increased iron on our blood testing. Since my husband regularly donates blood or plasma, he has to supplement heavily on a regular basis. Just FYI, if you donate please be sure to keep up with testing your red blood cell health & iron levels regularly, on your own, to make sure it’s in the IDEAL range (just search for your age & sex for what that level should be), testing center just makes sure you aren’t so low you’re in danger of dying which is not good enough. I also recommend going a bit above ideal range if you have hair loss going on.
It is of my personal opinion that if you need to supplement on a regular, ongoing basis, you should rotate some different sources of iron for long-term safety purposes. The iron brands that doctors typically recommend can cause constipation, nausea, and other side effects. I think this curry leaf derived iron as well as some other types, are superior and will raise your blood level just as well. I have had no issues with side effects on this one. I also try to eat foods high in iron, but if you need to raise your level a lot you will probably need both food and supplementation.
I appreciate the easy to recycle glass bottle.

Most companies in this world lack integrity, are corrupt, and absolutely do not have our best interest in mind. I can confidently say that that is not the case with Global Healing. Dr. Group seems like a wonderful man who truly cares about his company, his product, and the world itself. He genuinely seems like he wants to help people, and I consider him and his company a light in the dark. All of his supplements that I have tried have far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend.

*****UPDATE 10/21/24: I spoke with a Global Healing representative and was refunded the full amount with a return waived. So, I ultimately received this liquid product for free in a time when I needed it quite badly, for which I am grateful. It still stands that this Amazon product page showcasing the 60-serving capsule form (18mg per serving) is deceptive marketing, and that the 30-serving liquid form (18mg per serving) that customers receive contains only half the amount of iron as the capsules but is sold at the same price.*****
I can’t believe I have to waste my time writing this review.
I ordered Global Healing Iron CAPSULES from this specific Amazon product page, NOT the “improved” liquid formula.
Yet I received a bottle of liquid iron supplement — which has only HALF the servings (30 instead of 60, both at 18mg per serving) yet is sold for the EXACT same price the capsules were.
False advertising. And it comes across as greedy.
The liquid form, which is now the ONLY form of iron they offer, currently has a rating of 1.9 stars on their direct website. People hate the taste, say it’s less effective, messy, and less convenient, and mention that the liquid costs the exact same as the capsules used to cost despite the servings being *cut in half*.
So, why didn’t I receive exactly what I ordered from this Amazon product page which is advertising the 60-serving CAPSULES for sale?
I am so low on iron, my under eyes are purple and my feet are cramping. I was really holding out for Global Healing Iron to save my cells again from anemic symptoms and better yet from all the awful non-organic non-plant based iron supplements on the market that barely work.
I used to tell people about this supplement religiously because of how it has sustained me blissfully for a couple of years.
Now, y’all have REALLY disappointed, Global Healing.
I don’t care about your claims that absorption is increased by 20% when given in the liquid “microsomal” form.
Give me my money’s worth, and give me the capsules that are advertised on this page. If you’re going to sell this iron in liquid form then maybe 1) take out the expensive olive oil and avocado oil, 2) take out biophotonic water and vegetable glycerin, 3) keep the ormus super-charged minerals, 4) make it taste a lot better, and 5) ultimately provide *60* servings for this price (~$29) as it has always been instead of a measly 30 servings.
I take double the serving amount (36mg), so one bottle of liquid would last me a mere ~2 weeks.
Quit lying and cheating people in this recession economy out of their hard-earned money with fancy fillers and give them (and me!) what their bodies desperately need in order to function normally, and have it be truthfully advertised!
Sell BOTH the liquid and capsule forms if you really believe so ardently in the increased absorbency of the liquid form. Let your customers be the deciding factor in whether you continue pushing this liquid product.
Again, 1.9 star rating on your website. Y’all are losing money and valuable loyal dedicated customers some of whom no doubt were giving you great PR until you made this decision that only makes you look greedy, not caring.
Unless I am refunded or sent capsules after speaking with Global Healing directly, I will not update this review with anything positive.
I’ve been trusting you with my body’s ability to function normally in my everyday life. Y’all have really diminished my trust in you.
Instead of deciding for all of your Iron customers what is now going to be best for them and their lifestyle, why not INCLUDE us, even a statistically relevant subset of us, in your decision-making process? How crazy rude can you be?! Treating us disrespectfully like children who don’t get to put in a word for what is best for our bodies?
Give us liquid as a new *additional* option on the table to try out, not a dictatorial directive of how things are now gonna be.
I am admittedly angry about this. Y’all really fubbed this up, in my opinion. I recommend you bring back the capsules as soon as yesterday and definitely quit lying to people about what they’re getting on this Amazon page.
Keep your loyal customer base! I would like to stay with you since your product is the only one I’ve found that works.
It’s disappointing that I may have to suck it up and pay double what I was paying before, and that I was lied to on this Amazon product page.
Surely you’re more conscientious than that? I’ve believed you are and would prefer to continue thinking the best of you, Global Healing.
Create a new Amazon product page containing reviews specific to your liquid product. The capsules and liquid are nowhere near the same product, and the reviews should be separated on that basis.
Or maybe I’ll buy my own iron-rich curry leaves and make my own supplement. Thanks for creating an upset in my life that actually does affect me in a rather significant way. I apologize for my tone. I wish you had considered your customers’ needs and desires more before you made this decision.
