Since I’m on a road to taking better care of myself, I’ve been doing a LOT of research on holistic healing and all things natural. Recently, I found out that my blood pressure is higher than normal due to weight gain and menopause. Anyway, I’ve learned that the quickest way to naturally bring down your blood pressure is by taking ginger root. I saw that BulkSupplements carry it in a powder form, so I bought it. It is bitter and the exact color of the actual whole root. The powder is VERY lightweight and whispy….be careful upon opening the bag. Also, please be aware that this product can also take your blood pressure down TOO low…keep that in mind. Everything that I’ve ordered from BulkSupplements has done as promised. I’ll update if it does not deliver. I highly recommend this product for blood pressure, JUST as their MILK thistle delivers, as well. LOVE it!

Before buying bulk supplement I was using pure ginger powder that are sold for baking and smell and taste was ginger. Bulk suplement doesn’t smell not taste as ginger.

This ginger root extract has been instrumental in helping to relieve my mom’s osteoarthritis pain. I use the powder in various health supplements, including my Anti-Inflammatory Pain-Relief Supplement and my Anti-Viral/Antibiotic Immune Protection Supplement. The powder is of good consistency and is potent. It truly helps improve various health issues, including chronic pain and pain caused by a buildup of toxins in the body (i.e. arthritis). This stuff is also helpful for gastrointestinal problems like nausea and stomachache. It’s excellent for boosting the immune system and works as an effective synergist in various herbal blends.
Other than the terrible quality bag, this ginger root extract powder is a very good product!

I have been using the Bulk Supplement ginger root extract for months now and found it to be a great product on every level. However, the ginger root extract powder that arrived 2 weeks ago was not the same product at all. It was 2 shades darker than any ginger root powder I have ever used and worse, it smelled absolutely horrible. When I opened the package those of us in the kitchen nearly gagged at the disgusting smell. I quickly wrapped it up in a thick bag to eliminate any possiblity that the smell would continue to contaminate our kitchen and tossed it in the garbage. Certain that this was a bad batch, I naively bought another one thinking I’d get the real thing – no such luck. The company has clearly changed the makers of the product and obviously never smelled nor tasted it themselves. This time I actually held my nose and put a little bit in water to taste it. There was only a hint of ginger, and the flavor was dominated by some other substance – the combination of the two emitting the foul odor. Any good ratings that you are reading here were certainly not written recently enough to reflect thisrecent change. There is no way that I could have given this disgusting stuff anything but one star !

I decided to start using my nutribullet and add various spices and seeds to hopefully begin a journey to better health. Unfortunately I’m not a gourmet taster, but blended together with a few greens and a bit of fruit I have been enjoying downing them. I can’t say for certain what each individual ingredient has done, but the combination has been working. I also was given some essential oils that I have been using too.
I am mixing: beautiful love organics raw cacao, terrasoul raw cacao, healthworks raw cacao, viva labs raw cacao, seagate products lemon powder concentrate, bulksupplements cranberry extract, bs ginger root extract, bs cinnamon bark extract, bs beet root powder, bs 5htp, bs hyaluronic acid, bs 95% curcumin, bs 50% green tea, dualspices nutmeg powder, now foods inulin prebiotic fos, hoosier hill farm paprika, quinoa, sesame seed, flax seed, hemp kernels, raw pumpkin seed and chia seed.
The bulksupplements products are very fine powder, not strongly flavored, mix very well into smoothies or peanut butter; but they can get messy fast. I ended up a bit sticky and stained, but I did mix enough for a couple weeks.
We have been not wanting to eat for 2 to 4 hours after getting up and not wanting a third meal. We are dreaming like we’re insain. Momma is pooping like she hasn’t pooped in years. My heartburn is gone and blood pressure is slightly down. I’ll try to add more if I notice anything else happening and can attribute it to any individual substance.
