I love a citrus scent, so Ginger Lily Farms Club & Fitness Soothing Butter Lotion was perfect for me. The scent tends toward orange, is light, and doesn’t linger. It won’t interfere with your primary scent.
This product is very good, but I’m not sure why this is called butter lotion. This is a light lotion, not creamy or cream-textured. It’s not the type of lotion you need for very dry skin, but it’s perfect for warmer weather. You do have to be somewhat vigorous in applying it and wait a bit for your skin to absorb it, but the effect lasts reasonably well. I had to reapply after washing my hands, of course, but with a gallon of lotion, I had plenty for that!

This is a gigantic lotion in gallon size. Obviously, I have to transfer some of it into smaller, portable containers, which I have prepared beforehand. It has a citrusy scent that’s soothing. I like it. I like my lotion to have a thicker consistency. This is neither light nor thick. It’s about in the middle. When I initially applied it to my hands, I wasn’t sure how to put it into words, but it’s not positive. There appeared to be some dilution. However, it seemed to work pretty well and leave my hands moisturized after I waited just a short while. It’s not greasy and does not leave a sticky residue behind. It’s paraben-free and sulfate-free. Therefore, it is safe to use. It’s such an incredible bargain! Thank you.

I will have this jug of lotion for forever. It’s got a nice orange-y scent and a light consistency, which means it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave you with a weird film or feeling greasy. I suggest getting a different lotion bottle to refill instead of a gallon pump adapter. You’ll waste far too much product and it will be much easier to use for those with hand or grip issues.

Basically what I expected, it works
