    I was using the regular tea tree brand of this product before and wanted to switch because it felt like it left a sticky residue in my hair. My stylist recommended this product, so I gave it a shot. The smell is nearly identical — very refreshing and pleasant. It feels light, not sticky and almost like a lotion. Turns white when you rub it in your hands, but is not noticeable in your hair. It gives you a “wet look” for a few hours while it is fresh in the morning, but your hair just looks like hair by lunch time. I don’t feel any residual stickiness and it didn’t leave behind green gunk on my headset like the other stuff. So far, it’s a big improvement.

    Boyfriend review: I’ve been trying to find a good beard and face lotion for the past few months now. One that doesn’t run out every month acting as a $12 monthly fee. I just got this in the mail, put a bunch on all over, and both my face and beard are incredibly soft and smooth. My face has been stupidly dry for weeks while waiting to find another beard lotion option, and honestly I don’t think I’ll be using any other brand. 11/10, thank you GIB for saving my face and beard. 😁👌

    So it has a very strong almost manly scent. I don’t know how to describe it but I don’t like how strong it is. I’ve tried other tea tree lotions and they didn’t smell like this. It’s not bad enough foe me not to use it but not good enough for me to want to buy it again.
    This is a personal preference I know so I’m only taking off one star. I guess I’m looking for a more neutral tee tree lotion that does cost $50 like the brand I used to get.
    A little goes a long way. It’s very light and soothing. Works well hydrating skin and keeping the frizz away in my hair.

    This product has a weird smell, very chemically not so much tea tree like other brands.
