I’m really disappointed with this protein powder. I was really hopeful because it seemed like a legit brand. The taste of the Cinnabon Vegan Protein powder is so artificial and doesn’t taste like cinnamon buns. It has a very unfortunate slightly cinnamon “mildew” type taste (that’s the best way I can describe it) so it’s not even an aftertaste it’s just hard to swallow from start to finish. And the powder is grainy because there were harder bits in the mix to start with. I even mixed it with banana to see if that would help and it did not. The worst part is, it repeated on me for hours after I had a smoothie. It was bad enough to taste it once but to have to keep tasting it hours later is a big “no thank you.” I try to mix up my protein powders so my go-to brands are Anthony’s Pea Protein (plain for baking, low carb, no sugar, high protein and great for macro counting), Falcon Performance Sport (the black container – it’s got added aminos and creatine, vanilla flavor for shakes and smoothies), and most recently Beam- Be Amazing Vegan Protein (the maple brown sugar oatmeal one- great for smoothies or “dessert” treats). I was hoping I could add the Ghost Cinnabon into the mix, but I’m going to have to fight my way through this container. It’s way too expensive to get rid of and I definitely feel like it should be better quality for the price. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this for fellow vegan athletes. I’ll try to see if I can bake it into protein muffins or something but- oof. Sorry guys.

Didn’t like the taste even with milk. Dirt with cinnamon flavour, might try to mix it in with a better tasting vanilla protein.

The pumpkin spice part is good. However, it has the grittiness and bitter after taste typical of pea protein. If you don’t have dietary restrictions that require vegan protein, find a different whey based product. That being said, it’s a fairly decent vegan protein powder even if it has the trademark ground lentil after taste.

I usually buy Optimum nutrition plant protein in chocolate but wanted a different flavor protein and cinnamon sounded good. It is pretty good flavor wise but it’s overwhelmingly sweet. I see it has a sucralose in it, it must have a decent amount because it is extremely sweet.
If you want something that tastes sweeter than a piece of cake this might be a good choice for you, but it’s just too much for me.
It seems to mix better than the optimum nutrition powder I usually buy though.
Edit: I found a good ratio of water to protein powder and it’s actually pretty good after finding the right ratio. I’ve been using 16.9oz to 1 scoop and that really brings the sweetness to a reasonable level. I increased the rating as it seems to just be a learning curve with the new protein powder.

This is my favorite flavor from Ghost so far, it literally taste like a cinnamon bun. Blends great with my shakes, high protein content and great value for money.

I found the texture to be perfectly fine but I got the Cinnabon flavor & it’s unbearably sweet when mixed with unsweetened plant milk. At least as sweet as an actual Cinnabon, if not more, but without the delicious bun. To balance this I add a whole Granny Smith apple. I get a stomachache pretty much every time but that’s equally likely to be from guzzling down a whole apple in 2 minutes as it is from the powder.
Good protein level so I’ll finish it but certainly won’t buy it again. I make my smoothie at night as dessert because I just can’t stomach that sweetness first thing in the morning.
Edit: I added a half of a can of pumpkin puree with a cup of plant milk & half a scoop of this powder and it makes a DELICIOUS pumpkin pie pudding! Will definitely use the rest of this this way & may well buy more for this use!

I bought this flavor because it was cheaper than the other varieties. It was surprising good. The consistency is great in my overnight oats. For a vegan protein, it is really good.

Easily mixes with most liquids. Smooth texture. Not gritty or chalky. Tastes really good, like a liquefied cinnamon roll.😋 Great in most smoothies.

I just started getting back into protein drinks as a way to enjoy my latte flavoring powders without as much guilt about the empty calories. I haven’t had much experience with protein powders, but after some trial and error the first brand I bought it ended up turning out pretty well. My boyfriend buys Ghost energy drinks that he really enjoys so I thought this would be a good brand to try for my next flavor but holy good god was I wrong. I think it might have something to do with the pumpkin seed that’s in it but the texture is gritty! I tried using my shaker cup for 2 minutes to try and mix it and it is a real chore to get all the powder off the bottom of the cup. There is no amount of mixing that can save this product. Something about the grittiness of the drink makes my throat parched and it makes me cough! The flavor is also subpar, which I honestly kind of expect… because these things never really taste like what they say they will. Would not buy again and I’m currently mixing it with my other protein powder and a tablespoon of latte powder just to make it serviceable to drink. However, not so god awful that I had to throw it out so 2 stars.
