This product has clean ingredients, mostly herbs, that are not habit forming, which is really great. Be aware it also has both gelatin and magnesium stearate in case those are ingredients you stay away from.

Excellent ingredients in this product! As part of my annual cleanse that I do, the kit includes an herbal tea to be taken at night. The tea bags are expensive at $35 a month and they include senna which you should not take long term. These pills do not have senna in them and many of the ingredients help repair or maintain a healthy liver as well. This is a perfect addition to a cleanse. Make sure to drink lots of water and lots of psyllium husk fiber for best results. It is a bit pricey for 1 months supply though, but the ingredients are complete.

As I use stool softeners on a fairly regular basis, a container larger than 30 capsules would be a welcome option for people like me.

They are third party tested and are distributed by an American company that also sells cosmetics and personal care products online and in stores. The gelatin capsules contain fourteen different natural ingredients, most of which are plant fibers or probiotics. The two main ingredients are psyllium husk powder and cascara bark powder. Psyllium is also the main ingredient in the most popular non-prescription stool softeners. Cascara is used to stimulate your bowels to move and is considered safe for short term use. If you are pregnant, have liver problems or take prescription medications that are less ineffective if they don’t remain in your system long enough, you should check with your doctor before taking cascara on a daily basis. The directions on the bottle recommend using Genti-Lax as a dietary supplement, taking one capsule daily with food. I already take a lot of prescription drugs every day, and I prefer using a laxative only when I really need it. Every day is too much for me, and I will probably go back to my old brand when these are gone.
