Great value, same active ingredient as Differin (Adapalene 0.1), for half the price. Consistency is a water like gel and is not greasy at all. I had purchased for my teenager who has been breaking out around his T-zone but I’ve also been encouraging my husband to use it too! It’s a retinoid, which has similar anti aging benefits that my more expensive products have too, but without the fancy packaging and price point that prevents my husband from wanting to use them.

I have been buying this brand for the last 3 years (I have close to 13 years using adapalene), I currently live in Panamá and medicine here is expensive., so I get somethings send to a FF, last time I received another product (was a open sample) inside the box that was inside a sealed bag (so It came like that from the manufacturer?) and couldn’t receive a refund, so I lost 7 bucks, amazon didn’t even give me the option to chat with customer service or call. I’m not happy about it.

I used to get prescribed retinoic acid from doctor, such as Tretinoin, Tazarotene and Trifarotene. I used Adapalene 0.1% long time ago and did not see any effectiveness but this time, I feel it’s not bad which it doesn’t make my skin too dry or red. It seems I can tolerate it better. I used it during the daytime and tretinoin at bedtime and see how it works to purge my comedone and antiaging. 🙂

The product arrived in good time and the packaging was all good. I read many other reviewers say that they received a much smaller tube than they were expecting. I don’t know what they were expecting but the sizing was clearly marked in the product info and I received exactly what I was expecting. I’m new to retinoid’s, but after having done extensive research I found adapalene gel is the best you can get without a prescription. You do have to be careful to not overuse this product or you will have burns! Since I started using it just three days a week instead of every other day and amped up my moisturizer game I’ve had no more issues. It is essential you use a sunscreen with this in the daytime and I use a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid as needed. I have pretty sensitive skin and am very prone to breakouts but I’ve had no troubles so far. I’ve only been using it about a month so I can’t actually see any results as of yet but only time will tell. I will try to update if possible with photos in a few months with before and afters. Also with Summer coming, we’ll see how well it holds up in all the sun! I did get a pretty bad burn initially around my eyes, you have to apply it lightly around your eyes and I do NOT recommend using the Vaseline trick as this stuff is meant to absorb naturally. Too much saturation WILL cause your skin to burn and crack! It feels like the worst sunburn you’ve ever had but crispier. It is not pleasant. A couple days of coating on hyaluronic acid moisturizer though gave me much needed relief and took care of the problem. Most dermatologists recommend you only need three things for perfect skin, a good retinoid, SPF, and moisturizer. This is a much more affordable option than the name brand and see absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t work just as well. A little goes a long way and it doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It is recommended you don’t use it straight out of the shower or right after washing your face as it absorbs too quickly that way. So wait a few minutes after washing your face to apply it, go easy around the eyes as the skin is much thinner there, and then wait another ten to fifteen minutes and generously apply some moisturizer. Follow these steps and use this product conscientiously and you should have no problems.
