The difference sizes and shapes make these ice packs very versatile. There aren’t very big so they are great for kids as they are not too big and that means you fit plenty of them in the freezer. We have used them for heat as well as ice and both have helped provide the comfort and pain relief we needed to feel better. They seem to be fairly durable as well because my kids have thrown them around the room a few times! I definitely recommend these for families looking for multiple ice/hot packs!!!

In general, I appreciate the diversity of the packs, their ability to cover various body areas, and their suitability for the body parts that require icing. While the initial coldness is not excessively intense, the packs do not retain their coldness for an extended period. They provide a relatively comfortable sensation when applied to the skin. These ice packs are undoubtedly more appropriate for pediatric use than for adults. However, the quantity of ice packs provided allows for easy replacement, ensuring continuous coldness for approximately 10 minutes before they reach body temperature.

I previously purchased a 2 pack of these but they wondered off with family. I opted for the 4 pack this time. They are nice and large and feel well made. They are great for both pain relief and in the cooler when needed. I use them mainly for back pain and for wrapping around a leg. When not in use they are fold into thirds and stored in the freezer.

I like these because 1. You get two instead of just one. 2. They’re big enough for just about any use. 3. They don’t use electricity, unless you count the freezer or the microwave. 4. I can use them for cold therapy and heat therapy. Most of the time, my doctors recommend alternating between cold and hot for chronic pain, and I can do just that at quick intervals since there’re two of them.

This ice pack measures 10” x 6”. It stays cold for about 15 minutes when up against warm skin. I like that it has two different materials, with one being colder to the touch. For extra sensitive areas the velvety finish on the reverse is perfect.
The gel remains mouldable and will conform to harder to ice areas, like knees and elbows.
Comes in a handy pack of two, so if you need to ice for longer you’re able to.
The manufacturer states these can also be warmed up in the microwave, though we haven’t tested that out ourselves to see how long it will hold the heat.

They work like a charm. Smaller sizes help applying ice/heat at specific area comfortably. I read one reviewer complain that it doesn’t hold the temperature longer. While it is true, I knew it won’t since it is a smaller size. It retains heat for a much longer time than the cold. Perhaps this discrepancy is because it is summer time now with ambient temperature being high.

I have bought this twice now. The first time I got it they seemed to last longer but the second time I bought it they seemed to break faster. I like the variety of sizes to fit the need but they pop easily in the microwave if needed for a hot pack, you have to be incredibly sensitive like 2 seconds at a time. The ice packs last longer but melt faster than most others.

These lasted about four months, give or take a week, before finally bursting. I’d been using them for pain relief and to help cool my bed at night before I went to sleep. Otherwise they stayed in the freezer. Also helped a couple of times when I burnt my fingers while cooking. They work well enough, but they don’t seem to last more than a few of months.

I have not have to use these for heat but in terms of ice they are great. I used these for kids injuries and to travel with baby formula for short periods of time. It’s pliable and perfect sizes. They are light and keep cold for a a good time.

These are nice and large. I can almost wrap my knee with one. I noticed when I got them that the one I was using only seemed to have gel in two compartments. I guess the package had been stored on its side. Once it was back at room temperature, I put it on the table and gently pushed the gel around until the three sections all had the same amount. At my house, when they come out of the freezer they are quite stiff, but as they defrost a little, they can be easily moulded to whatever you are trying to chill. I like these better than the other ones I have that are just plastic. These can be applied directly to skin without feeling like they’re burning (when they’re cold).
