I am an avid user of silicone products for scar treatment, and this is my first time trying this brand/roller. It works really well and i love the fact that the applicator has 3 small rollers so the silicone goes on very evenly in a thin layer and doesn’t much spreading out manually. Other brands I have used before came out in more of a gloopy layer and I’ve had to spread it myself. Not this one! Would definitely recommend.

This scam is just pure silicone. There is no active ingredient. I’ve been using this stuff for over 10w on a 4mo old scar, and it is having no effect. Meanwhile, the actual product named ScarScience (sold only outside the USA) has a completely different set of 11+ key ingredients. Do not be confused by the similarity of these two products. I wish I had looked more closely and not purchased this.

The information states it can take months to heal but I have high hopes. It helped on my first use! I have raised & open scarring from possible lupus lesions on my face. I used the roller in circular motions on the lesions but focusing on the hard scar tissue most & they are softer & in some parts flattened. I like the way the pen works because you can control the silicone dispenser & when it runs out I plan to keep using the roller part for massages. I would recommend to a friend.

The roller ball and dispenser are perfect. I find myself giving my scars a little massage 2x a day and the scar has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY and way faster than my last product – could be a symptom of me rolling more because of the product or that the serum is better but either way I’m so happy! Writing this review as I order another.

Prior to getting this product I had tried the scar tape on my scars. But I was having a hard time applying the tape to a scar on the top of my back. This scar roller was so easy to use and I was able to apply it on my back without help. Since using it I’ve noticed my scar begin to lighten. I plan to continue using it to see how much of the scar will disappear.

I purchased this product on my husband’s account so I will review it here but my name is Cristie and as a provider in OB/GYN, I am very impressed with Scar Science. I have personally used this for a surgical facial scar and an arm laceration that was the result of a fall. I have had great results with both wounds and I am recommending it to my patients.
First – The Brush Applicator: This is so innovative in that it allows the silicone to reach all the surface tissue of the healing scar. The soft brush bristles make this so easy, especially if the scar is still tender.
Second – The Silicone Consistency: We have been using silicone for scar care for years because nothing works better. The silicone in Scar Science feels like a high end moisturizer. It goes on smooth and is not greasy or tacky like some other silicone products.
Third – The Push Button Dispenser: To use the gel you push the bottom button and the gel comes right onto the brush. I love that I can apply without touching the gel with my hands.
It is important to use any silicone product consistently for about 8 weeks for newly healed wounds and even longer for older scars. Using it consistently is key to good results. It is a great product that I trust for myself and my patients.

So I have been using this serum for a few weeks and I have noticed some improvements. It is easy to use and blends into your skin nicely. My scar has gotten smaller and faded a bit and I would def recommend to anyone. Stay consistent and you will definitely see results!

Very easy to use and apply. Nice, velvety feel. Dries quickly with no residue. I like the container a lot. The click action is pretty cool. The little applicator balls make it easy you apply and massage for 30 sec. Will try to remember to update as I see if it actually removes small scars from my daughter’s face.
