This product works so well for soothing sunburnt skin. Non greasy, and a little goes a long way.
No unpleasant odor. My daughters with sensitive skin can also use it with no issues.

This stuff works really well. A family member had some while on vacation and let me try it on a pretty bad sunburn area. I applied it a couple of times within 4 hours or so and later the burn was a lot less. The skin stayed red for over a week and it didn’t peel or itch.

This gel has saved me from painful sunburns countless times! It is very soothing & if applied multiple times, even saves you from peeling by turning your sunburn into a nice glowing tan (:

Seriously, I don’t know what kind of black magic they put in this bottle, but if you are a pale, slightly transparent, freckled Irish/Scottish girl such as myself, with skin that is only ever either the color of sour cream or the color of a tomato: BUY. THIS. RIGHT. MEOW. Seriously, stop reading reviews, wondering if this will actually help or not, or if it’s going to be gross and sticky and smelly, and BUY IT NOW. And when you use it for the first time, thank me inside your head (or out loud. Scream it from the mountain tops if you so desire) for telling you how amazing this product is!!
We all know the golden rule for Summer:
It puts the SPF on the skin, or else it’s gets a painful burn again.
Or, you’re like me and apply SPF regularly, and get burned anyway. Curse you, Sunshine! I just want to steal your vitamin D!
Every year I go to the beach, and every year it’s an exciting and dreadful feeling. “YAY! The beach!”. “Crap, the beach…”. I always get a 2nd degree sunburn if I forget to apply SPF religiously after the recommended times. I’ve been like this since I was a kid. Seriously, if I’m 20 minutes late- 2nd degree sunburn, and im out of commision for the next week or so. FML. As I was vacationing in Florida a couple years ago, the August weather was very unusual for one day. It was very breezy, didn’t feel like we were walking around in a sauna (I’m a northern girl), and was fully overcast. It looked like it might storm, but might not at the same time. I followed my SPF ritual per usual, applying SPF before leaving the air BnB and once again upon our arrival at the beach, and waited 30 minutes before frolicking into the salty ocean like a care free 5 year old. My boyfriend and I were having so much fun, that when it was time to reapply I didn’t want to get out and said “Eh…you know, I can’t even feel the intense UV rays, I bet I’ll be fine”. Ha. Ha. Ha. I absolutely should have known better! Ohhh, stupid me. 2nd degree sunburn. Did I mention this was the first day of our vacation?!
I was convinced I was dying later that evening. My boyfriend ran out and picked this up for me at a CVS, instead of the normal 100% natural aloe that I asked him to pick up, because “they didn’t have any”. I was so annoyed at first because I was in so much pain, and I had tried SO MANY sunburn products through the years that the 100% all natural aloe gel was the only thing that would bring me a bit of relief.
I ever so gently applied this to my extra, extra crispy shoulders, back, chest, arms and face. Immediately I began to feel relief. I was sitting in front of a fan, and the air passing over my lotioned up skin was such an amazing feeling. I still had a little bit of trouble sleeping that night, but I could actually lay down on my back!!! Normally, in these situations, I have to sleep propped up, because my skin is so tight and in so much pain, that it hurts me too much to lay down.
I was feeling guilty thinking I had ruined our entire vacation together, but the next morning, I felt pretty decent. It was the seond day and I was still in pain, but nowhere near the amount of pain I would have been in, had I not have had this, but instead used the 100% all natural aloe gel that I had been accustomed to using prior. Being in the sun still hurt, so I took on the role of a vampire and stayed in the shade whenever possible, and stayed covered up with a hat and a thin, airy kimono when I couldn’t. I was impressed!! By the third day, I had minimal pain and could actually have sunlight touch my skin without feeling like it was going to catch on fire at any second. I still wore a hat and kimonos for protection, but I was able to carry on like normal. The rest of our vacation was great! I even tanned a little bit for the first time in my life!!
If that was top long for you to read, here’s the recount:
PROS:
1. Not sticky feeling
2. Doesn’t dry into a weird sort of flakey texture like aloe can sometimes do when it’s applied thickly.
3. Has a nice smell!
4. Brings immediate relief.
5. Very moisturizing.
6. Allowed me to tan, which never, ever happens, unless I’m using a fake tanner.
7. Takes the red out of the skin.
CONS:
1. I have to order this on Amazon because it seems like nowhere in Northeastern PA sells this!
10/10 Would recommend!! I won’t buy anything else, ever again!! Buy this today!! You won’t regret it!!

I am pale and get really easily burnt even with sun screen… this after sun gel with all the Extracts like Echinacea, Calendula and Lactobacillus really does help moisturizing and soothing the skin with no od scent.

My wife and I swear by this product. Takes the burn away and helps keep skin from peeling later. This is a must have if you “forget” to re-apply sunscreen and get a bit pink (aka lobster)
