I love aloe vera and having it as a gel is a must for my skin care. This gel is a good consistency and is easy to use and apply. It has a good natural scent too. I love using this gel also for any time I have irritation or burns. It’s very cooling to put on and helps to calm my skin issue.
I also appreciate that this gel is organic and free from hatch chemicals.

Definitely has that calming, anti-itch quality of aloe vera. I use aloe from my plants a lot but it is so much easier (and better on my plants!), to use this. I like that it is safe for coral and contains nothing that would impact the health of coral if folks wearing it swam in the oceans.
This seems to me to be a fine product and one that is consistent with its product page information. It rubs in and absorbs well, though there is a hint of stickiness at first but that will soak in. It’s a clear gel with no scent at all. It’s effective on hives, bug bites, and skin irritations. I can’t speak to sunburn because I finally learned to avoid sunburns, but it’s certainly soothing for other skin issues.
Contains 2-hexanediol, which internet research indicates is generally safe and is commonly used as a replacement for parabens in cosmetic formulas. It also contains Hydroxyacetophenone, which a reliable internet site says is a powerful antioxidant and soothing agent. It also has a standard preservative–EDTA. The product page says it 99 percent aloe, so the amounts of these other ingredients would be very small.

The Coral Safe Aloe Vera Gel is a nice 5 ounce tube of skin cooling refreshness. I am currently using it on some bites I have on my feet and it seems to be helping my skin recover. It is a nice clear gel, I have had no reactions to it. Once applied, it is absorbed completely after a few minutes.
The bottle is packaged in a box sealed in plastic. The box is nicely presented and I can read the box easily. The tube of gel is done simply which I really like. This was nicely done and am glad it is coral safe. Great product to have on hand in the summer or after you have been out in the sun a lot. I like it for the help with my big bites. Nice product that I would definitely recommend.
It only lists that it is distributed from Florida. The bottle I received has an expiration date of 3/27/2027.

This aloe vera gel is nice and thick. I would say it’s similar to a salve. Very good consistency, but do not overapply. If you do a nice thin layer of the product, it will absorb within a few minutes. If you slather on a bunch at one time, it will not absorb correctly, taking much longer. Very soothing and feels good on burned skin or bug bites. Easy to use and apply. The packing is simple and clean, which I really like. I don’t think you could go on a plane with this, as it is too big, but you can take it on a cruise or use it at home. As a Floridian, here there is almost always a use for aloe vera. Even if you don’t go out into the sun it’s nice for bug bites or you can put it into the fridge and put it on when you are feeling hot – to cool yourself off. Sometimes if I eat too much salt or sugar my feet and hands swell. I will take the aloe from the fridge and put it on my feet and hands while chilling around the house or before bed, and it cools you off and depuffs well. Moisturizing too. The ingredients are nice and this is suitable for sensitive skin. Overall, would recommend. This is good quality. No weird smell. Just a nice thick gel that can have multiple uses for different skin irritations. Good value. No leaking or spilling, easy to dispense and apply.

I’ve never thought of an aloe product as not being reef safe so i kind of think that’s a dumb thing to put [and possibly misleading, because what if someone thinks it’s sunscreen, or thinks that their other aloe products are not reef safe??]
but this is a great aloe gel. thick enough to stay and not run everywhere, nice and cooling. as all aloe gels it is a bit sticky/tacky but feels great on a burn!

Not so sure about this product. When compared to other all natural Aloe products I’ve used in the past this one has a list of ingredients that are different. I applied this product to patches of dry skin where I usually apply the other all natural Aloe products and for some reason this causes me a mild burning sensation. I had to stop using it as there’s something in the ingredients my body doesn’t seem to agree with. I’ve included a side by side comparison of a similar Aloe product I’m currently using to show the differences, in case it helps anyone.

Very thick consistency. Applied this to my face and felt like it never fully absorbed, it was just sitting on top of my skin. It does feel more hydrating than typical aloe products, and I like that this formula does not contain alcohol. However, as a face moisturizer I would not wear this regularly during the day, and similarly feel that it would make a mess on my bedding if I wore it overnight as the package directs. Have not tried this on my hair. Overall I would recommend trying this as a skin salve for sun burn more so than for beauty purposes.

This aloe works great, doesn’t have much of a smell and goes on smoothly. I’ve been using it to make hand sanitizer spray by mixing with alcohol and some oils for scent and its worked wonderfully in combination to keep our hands moisturized and germ free.
