This is a nice moisturizer but not good for making a hand sanitizer. When I mixed 1/3 aloe vera with 2/3 isopropyl alcohol (91%) the two ingredients did not blend. The aloe vera in my squeeze bottle remains as a suspended blob and dispenses inconsistently as stringy slime. The moisturizing benefit of the aloe is absent from some squirts and very concentrated in others. The formula does absorb when rubbed in but due to the formula separation some applications may have insufficient alcohol to sanitize.

I’ve loved every product I’ve used by Beauty by Earth! Their aloe isn’t full of a million unreadable ingredients and it’s not slimy, which is nice. The aloe is super moisturizing! I love to put it on my legs after I shave my legs to lock in moisture. I also read on their website that you can mix it with water, which I did, and I spray it on my face after I tone and before I put on my makeup and then after I’ve done my make up to moisturize my face and to set my make up in place! Works wonderful as a mid-day refresher too!

I use this product for my face and neck and it’s very gentle and hydrating for my sensitive skin. Also helps with any sunburn. You can also put it in the fridge for those harsher sun burns before applying. I love this product!

I never write reviews. I posted this on my Facebook because I was so excited. Anyway – this is a copy and paste from my page.
I don’t know if any of you suffer if a bug bites you like I do. Most people a flea bites or mosquito bites you, you get a bump, it itches, and a day or two later it’s gone. Not me. I have scars from bites that itched for months. Normally when I help prepare the pool, I wear long pants. Yesterday Tim needed my help at dusk (prime bug hunting humans time) and got chewed up. I could see welts already forming. I just got this aloe in for my sunburn and it said also good for bug bites. Personally I find nothing works for bug bites. And I have everything. Afterbite. Benadryl. Calamine lotion. You name it – I have tried it.
Anyway – I figured what the heck and used the Aloe and Neosporin Plus (pain and itch) together. I expected huge itchy welts this morning. But nothing. I have tiny pin prick dots where I got bit, but no welts. No itching. Nothing.
I thought I would share in case it works for you. I am seriously hoping it wasn’t a fluke but I had over 10 bites yesterday.

I am recovering from a serious case of poison ivy. 6 weeks to heal to a scarred state 😢 I decided to incorporate this to soothe my arms. It was very helpful. I also combined this with a moisturizing cream and used it on my arms. There is a little scent to it but I don’t mind it.

Holy grail of Aloe Vera gels. So natural, no fillers or pointless ingredients. Very high quality and soothing. I keep mine in the fridge. This has helped my grandmother greatly with cold sores, my mother’s psoriasis, and my sister’s eczema, and my occasional breakout of pimples. Whenever I have sunburn I use this and it helps tremendously! This is not your ordinary drug store aloe Vera gel. The drugstore ones are loaded with fillers and are hardly Aloe Vera at all. Whenever I have redness on my face or a blemish or just got some popping a blemish I will wash my face and do my normal skin care and put this on as a lash step. If you’re oily and live in humid climates you can use this as a gel moisturizer. It leaves a seal/film but is not pore clogging at all. If you’re dry skin, you can do this as your last step to really lock in the moisture after you apply your moisturizer creams.
It will pill under makeup so I suggest this at might or days you’re not planning to wear makeup and want to give your skin a break. It’s sheer and dewy and gives my face a nice shiny glow without looking like an oil slick. I use it as my moisturizer after washing and toning on days when I feel super oily or it’s super humid outside. Other days I layer this as a last step over my moisturizer as an extra barrier to trap it all in. It’s a nice smooth gel texture, not thick at all but not super runny either.
Any time I’ve had a breakout, a bad reaction, rash or or a purge of small pimples from trying out a new cosmetic product I will immediately apply this gel and it will fix the problem!
Acne suffers you need to have this in your arsenal of products! In addition to Aloe Vera and vitamin E, I believe the radish root ferment filtrate is what really adds a nice touch, because this ingredient is not only a safe natural preservative made from probiotic, but it keeps acne bacteria at bay! I don’t get the same results by slapping on other Aloe Vera brands. Try this brand, you definitely won’t be disappointed!
