This brand of this product is a really good product and works really well. Just beware of this vendor because they are not selling the original Sombra or what we received was not what we have used in the past or received from this company,The Therapy Connection at HMS,INC. If you can get the original version of this product it does work well for sore,achy, mucles and joints. While this company is advertising it, they are selling the warmth version and it doesn’t work as well and can be found by other sellers at a cheaper price on Amazon. Please note also after further checking, the Sombra brand being offered here,the natural pain relieving gel,analgesico natural can only be purchased by a professional. I thought this was what we were ordering instead we received Sombra warmth therapy. While a good product no doubt it is not what we wanted and I will have to return to my chiropractor to get the above mentioned product. So I give the product 5 stars and the response of the seller a 1. I would give them a negative 5 if I could because after contacting them they called me a liar instead of looking into the matter.
Note, since writing the above review I did go to my chiropractor and he didn’t even have this original product anymore so the company has changed the formula without telling anyone. He had not noticed the difference since his last order either. He thanked me for letting him know and after further research he was unable to purchase the other product also. So this is probably just a change with Sombra. I just wish that the seller had researched this for themselves instead of trying to make me look like a fool in their response to my questions. I even understood that they couldn’t accept an opened product and didn’t expect them to refund my money. I just wanted an answer to what happened to the original product. However, Amazon being the great company that they are, I suppose after looking into my appeal refinded my money. That was a nice suprise, I just wish the sellers response at their website had showed a little more class.

After a PT session for an S-I joint, the joint had flared up badly and the therapist used a bit of this on the area that was hurting and it provided great relief. I bought some for home (though this size was way too much!) and it is sometimes the only thing that will provide relief. I think it just stimulates the surface of your skin and detracts from the deeper pain, but whatever it does, it works for me. I was having a horrible time sleeping for months until I got this, which would allow me to fall asleep, which I wasn’t able to do because of constant squirming for a better position.

I use this product on my recently-sprained ankle to keep the pain down at night, and on my shoulders to do the same thing. It absolutely works for me. The smell is strong, and though it’s supposed to be orange, mostly the menthol and camphor odors predominate, at least to my nose. My dog hates it, but his nose is a zillion times better at smelling than mine is. I honestly don’t care what it smells like, as long as it works. And it does. I tried out a small tube of it, just for testing purposes, and was so impressed I ordered this larger size. I may have to invest in the large pump bottle when I finish this jar of the stuff. It feels cold when it goes on, then it seems to warm up, but it doesn’t actually make your skin hot at all. It’s just a sensation, and it feels good against the pain of arthritis or a bad sprain. Once applied, it seems to work a good long time, several hours at least. I am quite impressed with this product.

OMG. I literally just received this product in the mail and I am completely blown away. A while back I was exercising at work and I pulled a muscle in my shoulders. Know amount of pain reliever was helping. I even went as far as buying a heating pad to help with the soreness, still didn’t work. So the other day I was just strolling on Amazon and came across this product and started reading the reviews. Which for the most part were positive reviews. So I tried it. Upon contact, this product started to soothe the soreness immediately. In my opinion this will be great with a full body massage. Its has the same smell as bengay. I did not smell any citrus in this product. So if you don’t care for the menthol aroma than you won’t like it. With that being said it’s an amazing product that in my opinion does exactly what it said it would do. I definitely will be buying again.

I got a sample of this from my Chiropractor. I see my Chiropractor every other week for chronic back and neck problems. My treatments help a lot, but it’s just maintenance for my 75 year old body. I was so happy with the sample of Sombra I received, that I immediately ordered a jar from Amazon. I put this on my neck and shoulders with a disposable latex glove just before going to bed. (I wear contact lenses and don’t want to get anything in my eyes.) It gets nice and warm and totally calms the stiffness and pain. Instead of tossing and turning to try to find a comfortable position, I can just go to sleep. I love it so much, I ordered a jar for my daughter who also has back and shoulder problems. She is also in love with it.
This works better than anything else I’ve tried, and I’ve tried many different sprays and creams. I’m hooked!!! Love it!
