This is a tanning gel/balm to help you get a darker tan, not a self-tanning product. It comes in a fairly large jar that is sealed both outside and has an inner seal. A small spatula is included to help you remove the balm. The smell is interesting. I defintitely get a citrus scent – not sure I can tell it is mango – as well as coconut. As you can see on the darker picture with my hand, there is a bit of a shimmer, too.
Although the gel looks hard and solid, the spatula has no problem scooping it out. In the first picture of my hand, you can see that I put on way too much. It almost melts and spreads easily – definitely feels like oil. I took the amount that was on my hand and spread it on my hand and most of the way up my arm. You need to keep smoothing it onto your skin so that it absorbs in. It does make your skin feel smooth!!!

This is not a self tanner, but it does give a slight tint and shimmer. It is moisturizing and have a great scent. I don’t use tanning beds or worship the sun, so I’m not sure it helps in that regards. I just wanted something that feels and looks good on my skin.

This arrived packaged extremely well too with an inner seal, an outer shrink wrap, and the whole thing was bubble wrapped. Nothing was left to chance there.
With a consistency of soft butter, it’s very easy to smear on, and it feels really nice as you apply it because it feels quite hydrating, so it’s like giving your skin a big drink. It’s got a very prominent fragrance, which I personally find delicious. I can’t quite place it, but it seems like a mix of cocoa butter and some tropical fruit (they say it’s mango… I personally think of pineapples and coconuts). Anyway I went for a bike ride with a coat of this on, and enjoyed the occasional wafts I’d get now and then. It was hot out, so enjoying the nice smell was a welcome change.
In additional to smelling wonderful, it makes your skin look wonderful too. Even if you don’t already have a tan, this gel has a pretty strong colouring that, once evenly applied, will deepen your skin’s colour. It also makes your skin very shiny and shimmery. Overall, it gives it a pretty amazing glow that’s hard to capture on film. If I’m being completely honest though, it’s probably not the most masculine product I could put on my skin, but I’m not that hung up on gender stereotypes, so whatever.
Now for the negatives.
This is pretty messy stuff. It readily streaks so you really have to apply conservatively and work it in for it to look good. It’s not hard work, but it takes a little time. You can’t just slather it on like any moisturizer or lotion. But once you do get it evened out, it looks amazing.
It is greasy. Your skin will absorb some over time, but if you apply it too heavily, your skin’s going to be greasy for a long time. As amazing as my skin looked on that bike ride that I took it on, I’m pretty sure my legs attracted more dirt than my freshly oiled chain.
And because it’s got so much colouring, You really have to be careful around clothing, especially lightly coloured fabrics. Trust me, this stuff will stain and it can be hard to get it out.
As for tanning, I can’t really comment on how well that works. I haven’t used it long enough, and I tan really easily anyway, so it’s hard to know if this helps or not.
Overall, I do like the product, but just with some cautionary notes.

First time when I used this cream I didn’t wash my hands. As a result my nails were orange about a week!
Also this cream leaves a stain on clothes and towels.
Don’t forget before use this cream first apply sunscreen.
In general cream gives really beautiful tan to the skin.

First thing I noticed was the awesome smell when I opened the jar.
A nice quality tanning cream. I live a few blocks from the Ocean, and always looking for a good tanning lotion.
I can say this works very well. It gave me a nice Dark bronze tan. It keeps your skin from drying out, makes it look Hydrated, healthy, glowy and fresh.

This is my second jar of tanning accelerator gel from the “Isletan” brand. I absolutely loved everything about the first jar and this one is for a more dark, intensive tan so I thought I’d try it and WOW it really accelerates your tanning time and is super moisturizing.
I don’t usually go to tanning beds so I can’t really comment on its effectiveness in that regard but it works great in the sun. I apply sunscreen first and then apply this over it. Bonus is you can limit your sun exposure and still achieve a deep, dark tan. It is a little bit greasy right after application but it does soak into your skin fairly quickly. It can also be used to extend the life of your tan and is very moisturizing and the tropical mango scent is amazing!!
The harder gel consistency is a dark bronze colour and melts upon contact with your hand so a little goes a long way. Make sure you apply it evenly (circular motion) or you might get streaks. After applying, it gives your skin a healthy, golden bronze glow which is so pretty!! The ingredients include sunflower seed oil, olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil & shimmering pearls which give your skin a beautiful shine, along with calendula extract which is an awesome skin moisturizer. There is also Carrot in it which is what gives it the bronze colour and accelerates your tanning experience.
I highly recommend this item!! Great price (you need VERY little so the jar will last a long time), very effective, amazing scent and arrived promptly in well sealed packaging. Several of my friends tried this on the beach this past week – all different skin tones, some darker complexion and some very light skin tones that burn easily – and everyone was amazed by how well it worked. Several of them purchased it on the spot to have for their own use. Awesome product!!

I’m going to be using this to use intermediate with my regular sunblock so I can tan a bit quicker and still protect my skin against those pesky UV rays. Jeallis Extreme Dark Intensive Tanning Luxe Gel has a nice glitter shimmer, though I do it wish it was more of a fine glitter. Its almost a wax like consistency, but spreads fairly easy. I will also be using this when I use the occasional tanning bed (I do so periodically for psoriasis). I will be using this pot until empty 😊

My girlfriends and I used this during our Destin Vacay this past July and we really loved it! I think they got a bit more use than I did. I’m more fair/light skin naturally than they are so, they tan much easier and faster! This stuff feels very nice on skin! Leaves skin with a pretty sheen and helps to get your tan enhanced quicker. We used this only while already having a bit of a base tan otherwise, we’d all likely burn at first staring out with this and being so light skin. But with a base and using this, it really did help darken our tans I think!
