I love that this is essentially 3 products in one (moisturizer, sunblock, and serum) as it saves time and money and makes my morning routine easily. It definitely has the fragrance of sunblock, but that’s OK. I have pretty sensitive combination skin and after using this for 2 weeks, my face looks and feels great. I can definitely tell my pores are minimized a bit and my skin feels very smooth. I haven’t had any negative reaction of breakouts.
As someone who knows I need to be wearing sunscreen every day, but hates putting it on, this product is super helpful. I don’t have any complaints!

I have very sensitive and reactive skin that is also badly combination with dry patches, oily spots and occasional cystic acne. This product has not caused me any grief in any way. It is more like a thick lotion than a serum.it does leave a light layer on my face that is fine for the day time but I wouldn’t apply it before bed. The product is white and creamy and the scent is exactly like Coppertone sunblock. It goes on smooth and soaks in fast. I notice a huge difference in my skin already since starting this product (it’s been about a week now). Much less acne during my worse time of the month and less redness on my cheeks and nose. Call me crazy, but even more pores look better..kinda like they’ve shrunk a little. This product gets an A+ from me!

This Garnier Canna-B serum/cream promises to (1) reduce pores (2) moisturize (3) protect skin from UV rays, and looking over the ingredients, and it is effective at all those.
It contains niacinamide, which makes pores look smaller. It also has glycerin and cannabis sativa seed oil, which is is derived from hemp. Both are moisturizing. It’s also a chemical block sunscreen, SPF 30, based on these UV-filtering active ingredients: avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate and octocrylene. It doesn’t contain oxybenzone, which is a more controversial sunscreen ingredient.
It has a very lightweight texture that doesn’t feel greasy and it’s easy to apply. It goes on sheer and leaves no white cast. It didn’t irritate my skin, it’s noncomedogenic, and it doesn’t have added fragrance. It just smells like sunscreen to me. It’s made in the USA.

I have been using this moisturizer for a few weeks now and really like it. It goes on nice and smooth and my skin absorbs it quickly. It is not too thick, not too thin, and doesn’t feel greasy. I don’t know that it has minimized my pores, but it sure feels nice to use after I wash my face, when my skin feels tight and dried out. This moisturizer fixes the problem right away, making my skin feel smooth, soft and supple instead of dry and tight. Most days I don’t wear makeup, and this moisturizer is fine those days but also does well under foundation on the days I do wear makeup.
I also like that this moisturizer has sunscreen with SPF 30 for everyday protection When I first opened the bottle and started using it, it had a noticeable sunscreen smell. I don’t know if the smell faded or if I just got used to it, because now I don’t notice it. This moisturizer has some other fancy ingredients in it, but I’m not sure what they’re for or if they are having an effect, but I like this moisturizer nevertheless.
Overall this is a nice moisturizer that is goes on smooth and feels good on my skin. The SPF 30 is a great addition to help prevent sun damage and wrinkles.

It occasionally pills on my skin, but otherwise, it works great. The smell is slightly off putting, but it’s not enough to deter me from using this product. I leave it in our spare bathroom so I can put some on before leaving the house for the day.

Before I ordered this Garnier SkinActive Green Labs Canna-B Pore Perfecting Serum Cream, I read the reviews and was concerned that it would have too strong a smell. I had just purchased a 50 spf sunscreen-moisturizer and was disappointed in its strong chemical scent, so I thought that this one at 30 spf might be okay. Well, it’s much more than merely okay. It’s GREAT! The scent is super-mild and very pleasant. The protection is excellent. The texture goes on as a cream and dries quickly to a smooth, lightly-moisturized, perfect finish. Very calming formulation with none of the downsides that chemical sunscreens usually present for me. Recommended.

I’m the type of person who buys skincare not for the name, the brand, or the flashy packaging, but for the scientifically proven efficacy of the ingredients, as all people should. I was looking for a quick one step product that would give my skin moisture, as well as protection, and this goes above and beyond!
To clarify, I am referring to the Niacina-B version of this product. I’ve also purchased the Hyalu-Melon and will be doing a separate review on that, and have never tried the Pinea-C so I can’t say much about that one.
The Niacina-B is the cream of the crop out of all three, and I’d recommend it for almost any skin type, even those with sensitive or drier skin. It is fragrance free, unlike the other two in this line, and contains a potent amount of niacinamide (scientific name for a type of B vitamin), which has a lot of research proving it can assist with wound healing, improvement of acne or discoloration, and a myriad of other benefits. It also contains cannabis sativa oil, which is a great antioxidant and helps skin retain moisture as well. Best yet, it includes SPF 30 (the lowest SPF you should be using, anything lower is not effective for long), in a stable and reliable chemical form.
The texture of this is partway between a cream and a gel, and spreads easily. It absorbs quickly and the only scent is a slight sunscreen one. Fragrance in any form can be a potential irritant, so I try to avoid it in leave on products. This product also has salicylic acid at a pH level that is effective for mild exfoliation, and I have noticed a marked improvement in my skin. I’m lucky enough that I don’t get pimples much, but I do get clogged pores and blackheads. When I use this consistently in a routine (along with a cleanser in the morning, and cleanser, exfoliating solution and night cream in the evening) my skin looks the best it has in ages.
Why can’t all of Garnier’s products be this good? Most are serious misses, filled with drying alcohols (some fatty alcohols are good, but not denatured), fragrances and false claims. This one does what it says and will actually improve your skin.
