we usually evluate a drug from the following 3 sides:
1. efficacy
To my surprise, it really works. But this is not wonder pill which takes effect immediately.
it takes me 2 days to get the best effect.
2. safety
I did not feel anything bad.Most importantly, when I wake up, i feel good, without hangover feeling.
3. Long term effect or withdraw:
I worry that I could be dependent on this (or addicted), so I stopped it for about 1 week. I can still sleep pretty good. It is not like I can not fall asleep and feel that I need something.
so overall good.
I just used it for a couple of weeks and don’t know if I use it every day for years, how it will be.

This helped me get to sleep fast. But it also gave me bizarre, twisted, recurring nightmares. Coincidence? Maybe. When I take one around bedtime, no nightmares. But when I took two, I woke up feeling disturbed for the rest of the day. If you’re going to take this, start with one to see how it affects you.

I love all Gaia products and have tried most all of the sleep vitamins,but this one wasy least favorite.Maybe because it was a little too mild for me.

FYI, this contains kava, which studies say may hurt your liver. I did not see it listed as an ingredient on the product description or I wouldn’t have purchased it at all. I tried to return it and the seller won’t let me return it because it has been opened. I do not recommend this product or its seller, seeing as they offer no product guarantee. I felt worse in the morning than at night when I went to bed. My head hurt and felt weird.

These are taken 2 at night, 1 hour before bedtime. I think they’re big and difficult to swallow and I notice that they don’t taste very good as I struggle to get them down.
I’ve taken them a few nights and there hasn’t been a change for the better in my sleep. My smart watch says I only got 2 hours and 37 minutes of restful sleep last night, 3 hours and 46 minutes of light sleep, for a total of 6 hours and 23 minutes. My average sleep for the week was 8 hour and 9 minutes. The first night I took these I slept about the same as the nights previous. Night before last i got 4 hours and 44 minutes of restful sleep and 3 hours and 2 minutes of light sleep for a total of 7 hours and 47 minutes. So, I don’t think they’re helping, but I can’t say for sure that they’re hurting after only 3 nights, although the trend is less sleep every night I’ve taken them. I wouldn’t buy them again just because I don’t like swallowing them.
MORE: After several more nights, the trend went back to an average of around 8. Last night was 4.34 restful and 3.39 light. Weekly avg 8.12. I really can’t say that these capsules do anything one way or the other.

I have had serious sleeping issues for quite some time & was taking prescription medication (Ambien)…which I desperately wanted to discontinue using.
