This is a small tablet that provides 3mg of Boron to support bones. This is a vegetarian dietary supplement. These are gluten and soy free. GMO free. The serving suggested is 1 tablet daily preferably with food. Easy to swallow.

I was doing some research in the hopes of helping a loved one with a physical difficulty she was experiencing. In reading up on Boron in some reputable published medical studies by searching “Pubmed:boron”, realized this is an important trace element that might be helpful in supplement form for some persons. This little pill, in my family member’s case, two a day, seems to be helping her alot.

I just started taking this supplement so cannot remark on its efficacy. It is easy to swallow for me, leaves no after taste, and fairly priced. Boron is supposed to be good for several things and compliment other supplements, hopefully I will notice a benefit when the levels are where they need to be . Sometimes supplements take several weeks, even months to get the full benefits such as in collagen. Time will tell.

The 250 Futurebiotics boron tablets arrived in a brown plastic bottle with a child-proof lid. There was plastic sealing the lid to the bottle and a safety seal under the cap. This is boroganic glycine (Albion) and five other ingredients are listed.
I ordered these because I take boron every day, as recommended by my doctor, for bone health. 3 to 6mg, the usual recommended dose for bone health, can easily be met with these 3mg tablets.
These tablets have no markings and aren’t scored, but I was able to cut a few roughly in half with my basic pill cutter.
The tablets are small and hard. I haven’t detected any taste, and I found them easy to swallow. Boron is one of those supplements where it’s difficult to tell if they’re doing anything, but I’m assuming this trace mineral is helping my bones.
I wish all supplements were required to have third-party testing and a USP type seal, but the bottle has a GMP seal and they are made in the USA. The bottle I received in January 2025 was clearly marked “EXP.05.2026”.

I’m happy with this boron supplement. The tablets are small and easy to swallow with no taste. There are 250 servings with each serving being one 3mg tablet. For me, 3mg is perfect because my body seems to respond well to it at that dose. It also is gentler on my tummy than a higher dose. I’m hoping this will have good effects as I continue to take them.

To evaluate this product, you need to understand why you are taking it. Boron has been studied for supporting hormonal parameters in postmenopausal women, reducing inflammation (e.g., arthritis), and for suppressing Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) in men. Studies doses for these uses are 3 mg, 6 mg, and 10 mg, respectively.
Personally, I use the supplement for the latter (suppression of SHBG) for which there is good published research. The researched doses for SHBG suppression are generally 10 mg. That means you would need to take 3 tablets of this product to achieve close to the research levels. In that regard, this product is more than 2X as expensive per dose than my normal chelated boron product.
While this product my be a good quality product, I think I’ll stick to my original brand after this evaluation.

Several years ago, my doctor recommended 3 mg of Boron in supplement form. I was eating prunes to obtain the Boron but had to give up that habit.
Futurebiotics Boron 3mg, Vegetarian, Non-GMO, Chelated for Absorption, 250 Tablets are quite affordable, the tablets are tiny and manageable. I like that the bottle label is displayed on the product page.
I’ll be taking a few of these every week.
