From My Experience –
The organic Echinacea Purpurea herb is exactly as expected and arrived on time. The cut herb includes the stems, leaves and flower petals, which are all medicinally active portions of the plant. Echinacea root may have stronger medicinal value, but is sold separately and at a premium price.
Echinacea is used to boost the immune system and is a common ingredient in medicinal teas available in the supermarket. This package contains 552 servings, with a serving size of 1 tsp (820mg). The entire package is 453g. To see the value, compare this to the contents of grocery store brands (pictured) which offer a total of 24g and 32g per box respectively. The value is significant if you plan to drink this tea daily and it is worth investing in multiple herbs to get a tasty and effective blend of your own.
This 1 pound bag fits perfectly into 2 half gallon Mason jars for long term storage and use. I received my package on March 12, 2020 and the Best By date is January 2023.
I combined mine with calendula flowers and licorice root for a sweet tasting tea that supports the respiratory system. I also plan to provide it to my family as a tea with elderberries and honey for a daily immune system boost during COVID-19.

I haven’t found an echinacea tea bag, so I purchased this loose tea. Boy, am I glad that I did. You get a lot for your money, and the flavor is fantastic. Go ahead. It’s worth a try.

Frontier Organic Echinacea Purpurea Herb offers excellent quality and freshness. I’ve been using it primarily for making tea blends, and it adds a mildly minty flavor that complements other herbs well. The organic certification is a big plus for me, knowing that it’s free from pesticides and additives. The packaging keeps the herb fresh, and the quantity is generous for the price. My only reservation is that the flavor could be stronger, especially if you’re looking for a more pronounced echinacea taste

Have purchased organic bulk echinacea once before from a different vendor. Since I didn’t know any better I assumed that large dried woody stems and chunks were normal. When that batch finally ran out, I decided to buy from Frontier Co Op. Wow! What a difference! First, the smell is fresh, all plant parts are evenly cut, leaves are still green, bits of petals are still purple. Best of all, I can get even measurements for my tea and using less due to it being fresh. Tastes fantastic!
