I take 4,000mg of magnesium every night. We had to buy new pill holders because of the size! Then I discovered these: compact, swallowable, AND KOSHER AND VEGAN! Awesome!

Pills are in capsules that have no taste. The bottle is easy to open and easy to dispense. I have no comments about the clinical effect of the product, but it looks nice.

As with many other Freeda-brand supplements/vitamins, these are vegan and kosher. These are in the form of Magnesium Gluconate and there is 2,000 mg magnesium gluconate per serving which corresponds to 110 mg of elemental magnesium. If you take that much, then there are only 25 servings in the bottle. It’s worth noting here that some brands list the amount of total magnesium per serving, while others list the amount of elemental magnesium. So to compare you have to note which they are referring to.
I don’t personally feel I need 2,000mg of magnesium per day so I’m going to take fewer and make these last longer – my doctor recommended I get about 500mg per day. These are not the cheapest option, but if vegan, kosher and made in the USA are something you’re willing to pay for these seem like a quality supplement.

I will start by saying that though this bottle contains 100 pills (that are small), the ‘recommended’ dose is 4 per day, meaning you would get just shy of a month supply at the suggested dose. Now everyone is different, so you may not need the full dose in order to get good results, so it is worth trying the various levels and/or consulting your physician. That said, I have settled on 1-2 per day. I feel that they do help with pain that I get from spasms, and in conjunction with other vitamins for bone and joint health, I am having reduced symptoms compared to what I typically would. I really like that this company offers clean vitamins that those with allergies and/or intolerances can take without worry. When actually taking these, I have not noticed any kind of upset stomach or any other type of reaction. Overall, I feel this is a great product that can help improve your health. I would definitely recommend this as well as the company’s other products to anyone who is looking for good quality vitamins.

Great product! Taking for muscle/foot cramps. Issue has resolved. Only drawback is the serving size which is 4 pills. This seems to be standard though for the more absorbable types of mag.
