Do not purchase this supplement. They intentionally hid the list of ingredients, this contains maltodextrin? 😤 how disgusting and deceptive.

Our digestion slows down as we age and our enzymes production decreases. This may result in a poorer absorption of nutrients. I personally have always made use of enzymes to help my digestion. You may use plant based enzymes, among others. I also alternate the use of digestive enzymes with Betaine HCL, as they seem to complement each other by facilitating which area of the digestive tract (or moment of the digestive cycle) will function better in terms of nutrient absorption. It also known that Betaine HCL may help the body eliminate harmful bacteria. While Betaine HCL has served me well, I would strongly suggest that the user consults his/her primary care physician before initiating any new supplement regimen. Also, as it increases the production of digestive acids, Betaine HCL may be inappropriate if the user has any kind of stomach ulcers. Freeda’s Bataine HCL seems to be a quality product; however, I would recommend it to be third-party lab tested for potency as a way to build credibility. All in all, I am happy with this product.

When I come across products that claim to promote digestive health, I am intrigued due to my sensitive stomach and gut and I’m always eager to give them a try. However, in the case of this particular supplement, I didn’t notice any significant difference in my digestive health. Fortunately, I didn’t experience any negative side effects either. I would advise anyone with specific digestive issues to consult their physician before trying this type of supplement if you are not familiar with it. Personally, I have a neutral opinion about it, and if I find my digestive health deteriorating in the future, I may consider giving it another try. For now, I plan to stick with my current supplements as they have been working well for me.

It took me a long time to find a pure Betaine HCL vegetarian capsules option as most of them are gelatin based or have fungus based acid that can trigger allergic reaction. This formula has a lower dosage and in supplements, more is not always better. For me, this option is perfect. I combine it with a carbonated water drink after a large meal and it does the trick. I will keep buying it.
