Since I have just started back with a four step skin care routine I was in search of toner pads, so I ordered these Closer Pore Tightening Toner Pads from Frankly.
I definitely got more than I bargained for with these pads because they do much, much more than just tone. These pads are chock full of skin loving ingredients that in addition to pore care, provide great hydration and barrier reinforcement.
For many years now I have been dealing with rosacea and this product really tones down the redness in my complexion. Basically I use the handy tweezers to remove a few from the jar and place them on the reddest areas of my face. When they become more translucent I remove them.
These toner pads are very refreshing to use, especially since I keep them in the refrigerator. While I can’t say that I notice my pores disappearing, I can say that these pads leave my skin feeling tighter and plumper. That benefit along with the lessening of redness in my complexion is enough reason for me to keep using these.
In addition to how they help my skin, I also the flip top on the jar, as its easier to use when in a hurry than a screw top. When I ordered these toner pads they were selling for $16.50 for a jar of 70. I think that is a great deal, and will repurchase when these run out.

Some of the other peptides have a decent body of research behind them. A couple have less research in human subjects but still look promising.
The various peptides, consistently used over time, will improve skin hydration levels, boost collagen production, reduce wrinkle depth, and improve skin tone and texture. The toner pads also have hydrating ingredients to help boost hydration on the spot, which can subtly help skin look better for the short term.
The container has a convenient storage for tweezers so your pads stay fresher longer. Usually they are stored in the lid, but these have a little rest above where the pads sit, which is a great design since the tweezers don’t fall out when you open the container as easily.
The pads can get a little disheveled in shipping, but it’s still easy to pull one out at a time. The pad material is more like a Korean beauty sheet mask than a typical toner pad, allowing you to let it sit on your face for 10-15 or use more like a typical toner pad depending on your needs. If you have extra liquid after application, make sure to squeeze out your pad and use it on other areas that can use TLC.
There is a faint scent from the ingredients, but it doesn’t linger. None of the ingredients in this are controversial or associated with irritation.
I really get into beauty products, and this is an outstanding toner pad because of the versatility and quality ingredients, and the price is really reasonable. The ingredients in this also work well with other actives.

Frankly’s toner pads are really cool and fun to use. They allow me to customize the fit to my face, and I can use as many or as few as I need/want. The little tweezers that come in the box are handy for picking them up and making them more sanitary to use. I like how my face feels after using them; they help tone down the redness on my cheeks.
