My eye doctor is skeptical of this and other supplements, but I have heard that lutein is good for you. As I get older, I’m concerned about the state of my vision. This is an easy to take vitamin supplement that may or may not work but is psychologically good for you as it makes you feel you are do something for your vision health. I took it for a couple of weeks but have noticed no difference in the amount of floaters I have. It’s OK but the price is a big turnoff and there are plenty of other vitamins on the marketplace that have similar ingredients but cost less. I’d rather spend the money on carrot juice.

I have been taking an eye supplement for years and this has the same basic components as what I have used. The lutein and Zeaxanthin are the two primary items for eye health, according to my eye doctor.
The pills are easy to swallow and don’t have a bad aftertaste or smell. Since I have been using this type of pill for a while, I’m pretty sure it works well.
The only thing I think about is the dosage of C and E. I have to be sure I don’t have a lot of these in my other supplements.

Okay, so we all know growing up isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, right? I mean, no one told me I’d need supplemental eye vitamins just to read the small print on Amazon! But here I am, with my new PRO-Optic Traditional eye health supplements, hoping to get 20/20 vision back, at least enough to read the subtitles on my favorite K-dramas!
These capsules have all the fancy stuff the scientists say I need – Lutein, Zeaxanthin, plus some good ol’ Vitamin C and E. I appreciate that it’s a zinc-free formula cause who actually needs more metal in their life? The best part – just one capsule per day!
As much as the kid in me would love to report instant superhero-like eyesight, I’m still adulting and not expecting miracles overnight. It’s only been a short while so fingers crossed. Will report back if I start seeing things as crystal clear as a Pixar movie!

I have been taking these pro optical capsules for at least a month. They are easy to swallow and cause me no problems. Since they are beneficial for eyes, I thought I might see some improvement in my retina issues. I have not, but I do think it is still a bit early for them to have any lasting effect. So I am continuing to take them and am hopeful they will improve my vision.

My eye doctor has recommended Lutein & Zeaxanthin supplements for my eyes for over 20 years. I really like that with these I only need 1 capsule per day. They are a little hard for me to swallow, but I usually have difficulties swallowing pills, especially capsules. This is also the ingredients that my doctor suggested. I don’t have any problems digesting them and they don’t have any bad aftertaste. They also have a long shelf life. This is a nice convenient 90-day size, so 1 bottle lasts for a long time. Also, at $0.39 per pill/daily dose, these are an excellent value. So far I have been very pleased. I highly recommend these.

The balance of the two, 10 mg lutein and 2 mg zeaxanthin is what is normally recommended. That’s what this supplement has, so only one capsule a day is needed.
Capsules are easy to swallow. It’s suggested they’re taken with a meal. I take mine at night, but I usually eat a snack or two immediately afterwards, so not a meal, but food.
Clean ingredients, but this product is not vegetarian since the capsules are made from gelatin, and they don’t specify whether it’s bovine or porcine.
My bottle has a good expiration date of 05/25. They will be used up WAY before that date.

This supplement for eye health is a research backed formula from the AREDS 2 study. I’m hoping it will improve my eyesight as it’s definitely gone down hill as I’ve gotten older. While this is to be expected, I’m hoping for improvement as I’ve just started this product a week ago.
I like that it doesn’t contain zinc or copper as I already get enough from my multivitamin. It has the 2 big nutrients I look for in an eye supplement: lutein and zeaxanthin. The extra vitamins C and E are an added plus for eyes. I like that it’s only one capsule a day and a 90 day supply. Recommended.

This is a well-researched blend of ingredients based on the AREDS2 Study. The Lutein and the Zeaxanthin are very protective nutrients for the eye. Its worth taking for that. The only thing that is unknown is the origin of these nutrients. The vitamin C is from ascorbic acid, which is not the best form of Vitamin C. The label states that the vitamin E is natural, but that term is meaningless and completely non-binding. Due to these questions, I’m 100% sure of its purity. Otherwise, its a good combination of nutrients and its great that one capsule a day with a meal is enough.
