If you are reading this review then you have probably done some research and decided that a Turkey Tail Mushroom supplement might be right for you and are deciding which brand will be able to meet your needs and requirements.
This FORAGE HYPERFOODS – Turkey Tail Mushroom Tincture supplement contains 138 mg of Turkey Tail per 4ml serving. It also contains the non-medicinal ingredients of purified water and organic ethyl alcohol. It is a Product of Canada and contains Canadian-sourced functional mushrooms. It has a active and valid NPN (80115940). The bottle contains 118ml and has a recommended dosage of 4ml (4 droppers) daily in water. At the recommended dosage the bottle should last approximately 29 days.
The bottle I received has an expiry date of 02/2026. The bottle is neck sealed for safety. The box has a sticker seal on the top flap but nothing on the bottom flap so the box could be opened from the bottom flap and closed without anyone knowing the box had been opened. I hope this is just an oversight on my box but wish the company would sticker seal both the top and bottom box flaps. This is the first Turkey Tail mushroom supplement that I have used and after using this product for several weeks now I have personally experienced no side effects.
I personally use Turkey Tail Mushrooms because it is rich in anti-oxidants as well as for its support of gut health and the immune system. Your reason for use may of course be different than mine and should be discussed with your doctor before using this product.

I use all of their mushroom tinctures. I find them clean and potent. I have two other mom and pop places I order from when I can’t get this brand. I like that they’re double extracted in alcohol and water to receive all of the benefits from the fruiting bodies. I also like that they do not include mycelium in their tinctures. You can get the glycerin if you can’t do alcohol. In my personal research, they might not be as potent as the alcohol ones as the alcohol is essential in extracting all of the fruiting bodies properties. I’ve noticed gut healing benefits from using the turkey tail along with the reishi and lions mane.

Without getting personal i can tell you, labs proved to me Turkey Tail mushrooms do promote healthy cells. I did tame them twice a day for 8 months

I can’t say with any certainty that this product is the direct cause, but I’ve been using this for a while now and I haven’t really been sick – just once or twice over the last year and it was really minor. Whether the immune boosting effects of this are partly responsible, I have no idea, but I’m willing to assume it has been a benefit.
I can’t really speak to the gut health aspect either, as I’ve never really had any gut issues to speak of, but I don’t doubt this would be helpful. I haven’t noticed anything negative as an outcome of taking this either.
It’s not a horrible taste, and the smell isn’t too bad but you can easily mask it in a glass of juice or something.
Either way, it’s been great so far!
