It’s the only Chia protein POWDER I could find. It takes 2 tablespoons to equate to 5 grams of protein. The problem I have with this powder is it does not mix well. It clumps together and turns into a paste like ball of goo that I can’t break apart, I end up chewing it almost like a big piece of gum that doesn’t taste good. It sticks to the mixing ball in a shaker cup, and stirring with a spoon won’t get you anywhere. Blender would be the only option for mixing this powder thoroughly. The mixing issue combined with the small amount of actual grams of protein per bag is enough to make me pass on this purchase in the future, I rather cook the seeds into my diet instead.

Good product. Loaded with minerals, tasty and goes quite easily into suspension. Only complaint is that the scoop handle is too long to fit well in the can.

These taste great, and are very chewy, but you need an extremely powerful blender, or they’ll really clump up. They’re not something that you can easily mix. I learned that chia seeds absorb up to 12 times their weight in water, and they’re a natural thickener, too. This makes them great for soups, and if your protein shake is too watery and you want it to be really thick. But, like I said, these get really clumpy unless you really mix them up really well, and for that you need a ton of high speed mixing power.
If you get them to mix, then they’re great. Also, these are really dense, so 8 ounces of this really isn’t very much, compared to other powders. I’ve been using only a little tiny bit at a time so that I don’t accidentally use the whole thing up one day.
I use them in my protein powder shakes, but like I said, I have to blend this a ton longer than when I’m not using it, otherwise I get weird clumps.

I’m not sure what the complaints are about. The texture is fine to me, I add it to my protein shakes even to my cereal.
Never expected it to dissolve but it is pretty granular and edible. No taste to me but I have never eaten it by itself.
Great product will def continue buying.

I really like this product. It works as intended. I know some reviewers complain about the amount… 8oz and that it takes 2Tbs for 5g of protein… I don’t know anyone who uses Chia powder as their main source of protein. Think of it as supplementing/adding to your protein source. I also don’t use it daily, it would run out very quickly if you did. It is VERY useful as a binder and thickener. It might be useful to look up uses for Chia powder. Also there are 3 blenders in my household, a GNC brand, a magic bullet, and a nutribullet. (Right now I cannot see paying for a $300-500 blender!)They blend the Chia powder just fine. As to taste… I think your palate needs to adjust to the texture and taste just like most nutritional supplements, such as green powders or protein powders. Most of us who are changing or have changed our health/diet, habits/lifestyles know that not everything is going be like it was before this change. Just make the most of it. Make it work. You’ll be better off for it. GOOD VIBES TO ALL!

I absolutely love this. It’s great to keep on hand in your go bags. It’s also perfect to add some protein to your shakes and smoothies. I add some to a blender with a flavored pack of oatmeal and milk with a splash of honey awesome way to start your day!

Great source of protein and omega 3s. Chia if not ground can be difficult to digest. This can also be used as an egg substitute in vegan recipes. I add this to my morning smoothie/coffee for a protein boost.

I like the powder better than the seeds, easier to digest. Good product.
