I ordered this iron supplement for my daughter who has low blood iron numbers in almost all of her tests. This was intended to help her supplement her iron deficiency. The product seems of high quality. My daughter has been taking two pills a day for a month now. She states that they’re easy to swallow but they do have earthy smell to them which I am concluding to be from the roots extracts. She hasn’t had any blood tests to see the effect of the supplement yet but we’re expecting an improvement since she’s been taking them regularly.
One pill provides 78% of iron’s DV so taking two should be more than enough.

The price may seem high for basically 2 months supply if you’re taking two a day but 4 months if you’re taking just one a day.

Plant sources iron supplement if you need something similar. Has a typical plant smell common to other supplements. Great sourcing and easy to take. Recommended!

As someone who doesn’t eat enough meat, this supplement is a must! Sometimes when I try to exercise I get exhausted pretty fast or I get dizzy and this discourages me from doing a lot of physical activities (which sucks). But once I started to take this I haven’t felt dizzy or more tired in a while. Also, I feel a bit more energized and can get through an intense workout with no problem! A big bonus is that they have a 120-capsule version of this supplement (most don’t which means you will have to get them more often). My favorite thing about this that separates it from the rest of the iron supplements I’ve tried before is the ease of swallowing and the fact that they leave no bad taste/aftertaste! I would definitely get it again.

My wife loves the liquid version of this but these capsules are a huge help to take on trips or outings without needing to lug the big glass bottle along. The pills are not too hard to swallow and the ingredients look good. Expiration dates as expected.

We’re pretty sensitive to iron formulations and so far this one is not causing us any flushing or stomach discomfort like some iron products have. The capsules do not contain powder, rather a gel/liquid which is very old-timey tonic flavored. How do we know this? We got surprised by a loud noise and unintentionally bit down on one. They’re not terrible, but we would recommend not tasting the tablets on purpose!
As for the herbal blend – read the label carefully. This product may not be suitable for persons with plant allergies. Dandelion, Stinging Nettle and Yarrow are the extracts that form the Herbal Extract Blend part of their formulation. Also, do your research. The three plants above have been have been the subject of quite a bit of research. The search terms “phytochemical” and the plant name will lead to some tough but interesting reading!
We do wish the bottle contained more contact information. A physical address is provided on the label, but there’s no web link, email, QR code or phone contact info. The company does, however, have a website that is easy enough to find.

The capsules are fairly small, and very easy to swallow. I didn’t notice any smell, taste, or aftertaste. No side effects. A very nice option for iron, which can be so problematic to take.
This is expensive, but a decent value, as the dosage is 1-2 capsules daily (so this bottle is 2-4 months worth). The liquid version is more expensive (14ml of the liquid equals the iron content of one capsule), and not as easy to use or store.
(Note this is not manufactured in Germany, but in the US by Gaia Herbs, the US distributor for Floradix. The formula is a bit different from the liquid, so check the ingredients carefully if you have allergies)

I’ve been using Floradix Iron + Herbs for a couple of months, and it’s made a noticeable difference in my energy levels. They are of regular size, not difficult to swallow. I’ve been taking one daily with no aftertaste and no side effects. I also continue to feel great.
