I take these regularly- 4 a day- and have noticed a significant reduction in dryness and irritation in my eyes. I wear biweekly contacts, so I sleep with them on and my eyes can get easily irritated, but taking this supplement has reduced occurrences quite noticeably. I tried a different brand once- one time I couldn’t get this one- but was not as effective.

I tried to be vegetarian many times in my life but always ended up giving into cravings for meat and seafood. 2+ years ago I decided to become vegan. A couple of months after I stopped eating any animal products I started getting cravings for seafood and felt there might be something missing from my diet. At that time I didn’t know much about vegan nutrition but this time instead of giving into the cravings I started studying vegan nutrition more and researched why I might be craving seafood. That is when I started taking vegan DHA/EPA from Algae. To be honest I think I also upped my intake of B12 at that time but whatever it was my seafood cravings went away and I started feeling normal again. Since then I’ve been taking Flora DHA or Nordic Naturals Algae Omega. I don’t take the full dose everyday but I do take it often. Even if it’s not what eliminated my seafood cravings, I think it’s good for me so I intend to keep taking it. I decided to buy Flora DHA from Amazon this time because it’s almost $10 less than buying it in the local health food stores. It arrived fast and in good condition.

Vegan DHA that seems to help with inflammation. I have been taking it for 5 years, and this brand has the best quality for the price. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for non fish source DHA.

I eat a vegan diet and took this supplement while I was pregnant. This supplement does not have an overly powerful fishy taste or smell. Store in the fridge to keep fresher!
