I saw so many ads on these and I was soooooo excited to try these. First red flag is how expensive these chips are. I overlooked the price and ordered 4 different flavors. The plain sucked, the bbq didn’t have enough flavor. The best ones are the salt and vinegar and the hot chicken flavors. Now where the ultimate let down occurred, was when I opened the bag of chips and there was less than half a bag full and they were all smashed up into tiny pieces. Every last bag I opened all the chicken chips were smashed. I reached out to FLOCK directly and didn’t hear back, terrible customer service. I will not be a repeat customer of these chips, the price and quality just are not there for me.

I opened two of the four bags in my order and most of them tasted burnt and nothing like Hattie b’s. The videos/reviews/pics I have seen always say they are light and crispy. These have been all dense and crunchy almost to the point they are not able to be crunched without breaking teeth. The ones that were not super hard were crusty on the outside and super fatty n then inside like pork cracklins. These things are super expensive for how small of an amount you get. I was hoping that due to the price, they would at least deliver on the quality depicted. They did not. Over 30 bucks for four small bags of this crap. Never again.
Cobbled thoughts –
These chips were delicious. My husband loves potato chips but is a Type 1 diabetic so he can’t eat them much. This was the perfect substitute. We have tried other substitutions but they never satisfied his craving for potato chips the way these did. These are crunchy, salty, and not overwhelmingly meaty tasting

I do initially like the flavor of the salt and vinegar. The other flavors are not the best. It comes in teeny little pieces all broken up and it is one serving size per bag. So $35 for eight servings is too expensive for a bag of chips, I would not buy it again. They are pretty greasy. It does taste like chicken skin though.

These chicken skins are a great snack especially for those on a low carb regiment. The only drawback is the BBQ chips need more flavor. When eating a bag I get a good amount of bbq flavor on ever 3rd or 4th chip. The salt and vinegar ones have a more balanced flavor where ever chip is flavored. I’ve purchased several bags of these now and the plain are good, BBQ is hit or miss and salt and vinegar is the best. I’ll still buy the BBQ because when you get one with the BBQ flavoring on it. It’s worth the find.

I love Nashville hot chicken and fried chicken but had never tried Chicken Skin Chips. I like pork rinds, so figured, why not try these! I purchased the 8 snack bag bundle since that was the cheapest way to buy online. Whoa: The stench that emanated when I opened the first bag was terrible, a major turn-off that nearly gagged me. These smell like a combination of raw chicken skin after being in the trash for a day with a dose of old deep fryer grease added. They tasted very greasy also. I ate two chips and tried to return. These are non-refundable/returnable. There are very few chips in the bag and at over $4 for 1 oz not nearly worth the money. I can get a huge bag of great tasting pork rinds at the store for half that. Even beef jerky is much less per ounce. Since I was stuck with these, I tried them again then next day. The bag had been left open and most of the stench had escaped the bag, plus the chips were not quite as greasy after airing out. Since the Hattie B’s flavor comes thru at the end: I found them tolerable and am now on my 3rd bag rather than let them go to waste. I open the bag and let them “air out” before eating: I find they are an “acquired” taste, but I won’t purchase again. Low carb, high protein tasty snacks are hard to find: wish I liked em’! WAY overpriced though. Hope this helps someone. If you’re thinking of trying, find at the grocer and buy only one bag. I’m out $33 and can hardly give these away.

These chips are actually delicious. The taste is right on and flavorful. I do not know how the product is processed, and I hope they continue to expand the market widely. I have only tried the original flavor, but my wife has tried one of the others and really enjoyed them.
Not a criticism, but I wish the chips were larger so they could be used with a dip like regular potato chips. While eating these, I felt as if I was scrounging the bottom of a bag of regular chips after all the whole ones were gone. Again, not complaining just being selfish with my “perfect world fantasy”.

I remember when I was a kid and my Mom made us crunchy chicken skins. She is Dutch Indonesian and would call them Cruck Cruck because that was the crunchy sound they made when you ate them. For years I thought that was what it was called. I know TMI…
These Flock Chicken Skin Chips had me at first bite. I thought, Dang! What the Flock? These are just like my Mom’s Cruck Cruck! So fresh and crunchy, a little greasy, but they’re fried chicken skin so that’s to be expected.
I love them. Great portion control for diets. Personally if the bag was bigger I’d blow my Keto diet because I’d empty the bag. You gotta try at least one. I like all the flavors except the salt and vinegar. They’re sour. Just my opinion. Enjoy!
