Recently, I’ve become “allergic” to silicon watch bands. Now that I’m on my third watch, I can only wear it for a few hours at a time before my skin turns red and then darkens. Aloe vera and hydrocortisone cream soothe the area and dry the skin, which I can eventually peel off.
I hoped this product would protect my skin from the inside of the band, but alas, it didn’t stay on well. The damp condition beneath the watch may have affected the adhesion. Anyway, now I wear my watch in shifts and protect my skin with a petroleum jelly barrier. That works well, except I keep forgetting to put my watch back on. 😉
