I take omega 3 supplements at my doctor’s recommendation due to high cholesterol and high triglycerides (in addition to high blood pressure). I have been taking supplements for several years now. For me, I have found that it seems to be most effective when I alternate the source of the omega 3’s – I generally take flax seed capsules for 30 days, then fish oil capsules for 30 days, and just alternate every 30 days. These fish oil softgels are a good buy. Works out to be less than $10/month. The softgels are fairly large – standard size larger capsules, and the dosage is two per day. My preference would be just one capsule for daily dosage, but can live with the two. There is no after taste (or after burp taste). There is a natural lemon flavor but it is pretty mild and you barely notice it (it is more to cove any possible fish taste I’m guessing). The capsules are easy to swallow provided you don’t have difficulty swallowing the the larger size capsules. Overall a pretty good buy, and definitely appreciate no after taste. Would recommend considering alternating the source of your omega’s – it really does seem to make them more effective for me in the long run. Doesn’t need to alternate every day… but maybe every 30 days or so. Hope this review is helpful to you!

My doctor recommended I try Fish Oil Caps, 2x day to bring down my triglycerides. They worked! From 265 to 175 and I just started. They do what I wanted but did not believe would happen.
