I love to see collagen in capsule form. I have been taking powder collagen in my coffee every morning, so I was happy to find this easier alternative. I am not planning on taking the recommended 6 pills a day, but will start with 3 and see how that goes. The ingredients listing is super clean and they come in a glass jar which allows for optimal storage. Kind of reminds me of old times medicine bottles. Definitely a high quality product and would definitely recommend. Happy customer!

I love First Light Farms! I started eating their Grass-Fed Wagyu and moved in to taking their supplements. The Collagen is so great for joint pain. I only have a 3 at a time (half the dose) and have seen a HUGE difference in how my knees feel taking these vs not. These are must for anyone who works out!!

I’ve been looking for a solid collagen supplement, so I was happy to see First Light Farms offering this Cartilage Collagen. I’ve enjoyed their Wagyu beef before, so it’s great to get more benefits from the whole animal! The Type II collagen with chondroitin and glucosamine has been a great addition to my routine, especially for my joints. The capsules are easy to take, and I feel like it’s helping with my overall mobility. Definitely worth trying!

I was really drawn to this product because I am interested in the health benefits of collagen. The serving size is 6 capsules as the recommended dosage and it’s great that you get a full 30 day supply. I have taken this product for the last 2 weeks and I have shown slight improvement with my joint pressure. The added bonus is my nails have gotten stronger so that’s great. I am eager to see how this works out in the long term.

Collagen comes in multiple types, Type 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 just to name the ones contained in other brands. Some types are sourced from different places like fish, chicken, eggs, bovine, etc. Most products on the market are mixed sources while this product is strictly bovine. The label states that it is type 2 collagen sourced from wagyu bovine organs. Type 2 collagen usually is used in cartilage and elastic tissue, and usually comes from chicken or bovine sources. Type 1 is the most common and the type of collagen that your body starts producing less of when you hit your 20s. Type 1 is important in skin, hair, and pretty much every other part of your body. My concern is that this product is specifically type 2 only according to the label. I would think that it would be better to have type 1 and 2 together. Also the label is very clear about this being sourced from “wagyu” beef organs. Why does it matter if the cows were wagyu or not. Wagyu beef is known for the special marbled fatty quality of the meat. How does that have anything to do with the cartilage, esophagus, or collagen in general. I see this as a marketing strategy to make you think their collagen is worth more than someone else’s collagen. It doesn’t make a difference. Collagen is collagen whether it comes from a wagyu cow or a dairy cow. Its still bovine sourced collagen. Plus for the price range and the large amount of capsules they want you to take a day (6 a day). I am more inclined to just take the other brands that offer 50 doses for half the cost compared to this products 30 doses. Plus the 50 doses of powder from another brand has type 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 while this only expresses having type 2. More for less is where I will spend my money.
Understand that I am not saying this product doesn’t work. I’m just saying I prefer to get my collagen elsewhere.

I’ve taken other brands of collagen and often times the capsules are so big they are hard to swallow. I like that the capsules are in a glass, amber colored jar for proper storage. A;so,love the fact that it comes from 100% grass fed cows.
