    This is a scam product. Is not actually dab on hair fibers, it is just eyeshadow- and cheap, poorly pigmented eyeshadow at that. I had formerly used the Boldify version of this product , which works quite well. Finally Hair barely deposits any product on to your skin, whereas real hair fibers, you barely have to dab and it colors in your hairline. Also, it is supposed to be dark brown, and it is medium Ash Brown. This is such a bad product that I am getting up out of my recliner to do a swatch test, to prove it. In the pic, I dabbed each product once, firmly. Finally Hair in Dark Brown is on the left. Boldify in Med Ash Brown is on the right.

    This product works to cover the shininess and color of exposed scalp where the hair is thin. It should be applied to the scalp, not to hair. Try parting the hair in various areas where hair is thin and dab onto the scalp. This is similar to a product distributed by Joan Rivers’ company but is easier to use because of the dabber and is considerably cheaper. The four stars is because the color is a little off for me. I ordered light brown and it has more of a reddish cast than I expected and than what appeared on the color chart on my device. Next time I will likely try the dark blonde and see if it goes a little better with my medium brown (with some gray) hair. Also have yet to test whether it lasts well.

    I love this product! It’s great to fill in sparce eyebrows & to hide scalp showing through thin hair. I also use it in between hair coloring to blend in the gray hairs. It stays on and does not rub off. It’s just a great all around use product.

    I had a ton of hair fall out after surgery so much so that you could see my scalp throughout the top and crown.

    My hair is very fine AND thin on a good day. It’s very dark blonde/light brown and cool toned.

    I saw that someone had reviewed that the light brown was a warm tone, and I can say that the dark blonde was as well.

    It’s not apparent by just looking at the color that it has a reddish tone because it looks like a taupe/putty color, but after application it almost looks like I’ve applied an auburn powder.

    I saw another review that the medium ran reddish, too, so I bought the dark brown. It’s perfect!

    It’s a very cool color and about the exact shade of the darker parts of my light brown hair. It doesn’t pull red at all. I think it would be great for ashy medium and dark browns, too, though the powder itself is fairly sheer and not intense.

    It covers the scalp in a natural way. Minus one star because it won’t last all day. When I get home from a 12 hour shift it’s mostly gone, though that just means my scalp is a little more visible, not that it’s obvious or patchy as the powder wears off.

    I’m not sure how waterproof it is, I’m very careful with my hair when it’s raining. It washes out easily with shampoo.

    Because my hair loss is temporary this is a great solution. If I needed something long term I’d probably go with toppik.

    Does a great job of minimizing the appearance of balding spot on top of head.
    I have a balding spot on crown of head. There is still some hair so not completely bald. This product does a good job of coloring the skin to minimize the appearance of bald spot. Out of curiosity I used it on receding front where there is NO hair. Did not look good there, but very happy with covering top of head where some hair still exists.

    This was very misleading. This is basically just makeup for your scalp. I see no difference in it and water resistant eye shadow.
