Arrived sealed, bottle a little sticky from label slipping. I’ve often seen the ingredient listed in many foods over the years, never knew what it was. Turns out to have other uses. There are recipes on the bottle.
Thick like syrup, see video. Neutral flavor, sweet oily type smell, but it’s not sweet. A soy product. Should blend in with whatever without adding any unwanted flavor.
Excited to try it! Will update with my butter pics. High calories and fat, so go easy… I think the butter recipe calls for 1 Tbs, which doesn’t seem so bad. I’m not vegan, but I do a lot of vegan to get non dairy. Whenever possible, I like to make my own.

This has been a great addition to my body butter recipe. I have a family that suffers from skin disorders from dry skin to eczema and so I make african shea body butter. While my original recipe was great it had an oily consistency that would rub off on clothes and took forever to absorb. I researched different ingredients and found this and it works wonders. Researching further I found it to be used often in the make up industry and is a great added benefit to the skin. Win! The package shipped in wrapping and then a puff bag. It leaked just slightly – didn’t lose much; just made the bottle a bit messy. It’s a rather large size. Some reviews mentioned having a hard time with clean up. Be mindful of septic tanks and this oil. I soaked the utensils and bowls in a large pot with Dawn dish soap and hot water then dumped the oily water outside and cleanup was easy.
