I really enjoyed this soap – it only lasted about two weeks for me though. It lathers well, and it cleaned well too. I did like the feel of it on my skin, and it seemed to have a real moisturizing effect. Unfortunately, $16 for a bar of soap is just too much for me to reorder, particularly as fast as it was used up.

I am not used to using soap on my face, but this product delivers what it promises. Unlike regular hand soaps, these do not dry out the skin. Instead, they are moisturizing as if they are filled with lotion. It also cleans well at the same time, which is surprising! The scent is subtle, almost odor-less, which was a plus for me in addition. I am taking off a star, however, as the size of this soap is small relative to the price.

I swear when I ordered this “hair” was in the product title. The first sentence on the box starts with “NIKSME offers balanced and healthy hair..” (though on another reading, I think it’s referring to the brand in general). The packaging also says 1 bar = 2 shampoo bottles. So I unfortunately used this on my hair which was disastrous. It made my hair feel like untouchable straw but I guess that was my fault?
It takes “squeaky clean” to a new level. I can’t imagine this being any better on skin honestly. $16 for a shampoo bar is reasonable but $16 for a bar of soap is insane. I generally love Korean products but not this one.

The bar has a pleasant lavender scent. I used it on both my face and body. It lathered easily. After use, it left my face feeling just a touch dry, but not bad enough that I needed to add a moisturizer afterwards. I appreciate that the listing shows multiple sides of the box, thus allowing the ingredients to be easily seen (it always irritates me when a product online doesn’t allow the ingredients to be viewed prior to purchase). Overall, I like this soap, although the price point of $16 for one bar is more expensive than I would typically want to pay for one bar.

My biggest positive take aways on this soap are the level of information available on the site and packaging and the soap itself in terms of quality ingredients. One negative take away is the price: $16 for a single 92g bar of soap is on the high end as a daily soap.
The site is great. It shows all sides of the package that include the ingredients, directions etc. More often than not, I find myself having to find out when a product arrives what is in it. The site and the package showcase all of the natural ingredients in the soap.
The soap is very nice and high quality. It has a great scent – the label says Mushroom but I smell lavender and it is lovely. I used the soap with a hand held shower scrubber. I found this to be a low lather (not sudsy) but extremely smooth; as if using shower oil. It rinses well and left my skin feeling clean and hydrated.
The site & the label state that this bar should last (60) uses, so used daily by (1) person should last ~ 2 months. That said, $16 is not out of bounds if this were a body gel wash which typically cost more that bar soap. On the other hand, the ingredients list on this soap is clean and natural and generally cost more. Overall, a bar of soap that feels more like a body gel is probably worth the higher cost.

This soap looks like a big tab – kind of reminds me of a Mentos. I am glad it is thick because at this price point, it needs to be, although the listing states this bar should last about two months. It has mushroom in it to help with moisturizing. I do find that the soap leaves a bit of silkiness behind as opposed to making my skin feel tight and squeaky clean. Lather is good and scent is lavender, not mushroom.

I’ve tried many different soap bars, and I’ve been using this one for a while now. First of all, it’s incredibly gentle and moisturizing, even for sensitive skin. The lather is rich and creamy, and it rinses off easily. Plus, it leaves my skin so hydrated that I don’t even need to use lotion afterward. With the hot weather we’ve been having, I shower more often, and this soap is just perfect for that.
One thing I love is that it contains mushrooms, which are known for their hydrating properties. In Korea, there are even skincare serums made with mushrooms, and I think that’s why this soap is so moisturizing. Also, it has a lovely lavender scent. It smells like real lavender, not some artificial fragrance, so while the scent doesn’t linger too long, I actually prefer that because it feels more natural. I’m glad it doesn’t smell like mushrooms—that would be weird!
The main reason I’m giving this soap five stars is that it doesn’t crack or get mushy as you use it. Every other soap bar I’ve tried would break apart after just a little while, but this one stays firm and keeps its shape until the very end. It’s amazing! I definitely recommend this soap to my friends.

I really liked how clearly the ingredients were listed.
But then at itself is quite pricey for a single bar.
However the single biggest turn off was the level of lavender scent. I can smell it two rooms away, when it is not even damp. It is functionally unusable for me.
