    Love the way it stays cold when rubbed on a towel. Helps reduce inflammation while moisturizing around the eyes.

    I got this to help with my irritated eyes. Put it in the freezer or fridges, use it to calm irritated ducts. It also works like a charm for what it’s made for. Easy glide, calms my eye bags while calming my eyes.

    When I first got this I used it a bit and the ball fell out, which is to be expected it is magnetic. But what I didn’t expect was a piece of metal flaked off that was in the base underneath the ball. It’s a good thing I noticed it because that wouldn’t have been enjoyable to roll on my face. So I suppose the material quality probably isn’t the best, but I wasn’t really expecting it to be for the price. That being said, it does feel nice on my face. The ball rolls easily and does not fall out too easily. I keep it in my beauty fridge but it is still cool enough to feel nice even if you don’t keep it in a fridge.

    I have mixed feelings about this.

    On the one hand, it took me a while to get used to using the spiky roller–not because “ouch!” but because, unlike smooth rollers, every time I tried it it would trigger my eyes to start watering. Couldn’t figure out if this was a “me” problem (i.e. I should really just stick to smooth rollers) due to my too many allergies and sinus problems or a “not used to lymph drain massage” problem.

    Well, after continued use I’m (moderately) sure it was a question of just getting used to the product but it is something I’ll have to continue paying attention to. And maybe stick to only using this when I don’t have to drive shortly afterwards.

    That being said I do prefer the spiky roller over the magnetic one, at least in this particular set. It rolls smoothly, with no squeaks as advertised.
    The magnetic roller, on the other hand…. Well, a lot of reviews are complaining that the magnet is too weak; I had the opposite problem as the magnet effectively prevents it from rolling at all. I can pull the ball out if I want, it just doesn’t MOVE when trying to use it as a massager. Likewise, the tiny tip at the end, being firmly fixed so it can’t move, just pushes my skin around and doesn’t really feel right as a massage, and I’m not really inclined to apply more pressure that close to my eyes just to make the massager “feel right.” (Maybe good for people who actually know enough about acupressure to just hit the right points and not need to move it around, not good for someone trying to run it along their eye sockets.)

    The metal on both rollers is cool to the touch. It does warm quickly from my body temperature (I’m hot blooded) but is cool again the next day when I go to use it.

    Needs a second drawstring pouch so both can be stored away when not in use.
