Great quality extract. I use it twice a day to relax and it helps me feel good and sleep better. Schizandra berry has so many applications, for example you can use it as a digestive bitter if you consume a dropper 10-15 minutes before a meal. I personally like taking a dropper after my workout and another dropper a couple hours before bed. Please note that this product is not less effective due to the 1:3 menstruum ratio. I’ve taken all of the various powders and whole berry products on the market and find the Herb Pharm liquid alcohol drops to be the most potent and cost effective “gold standard”. This may be due to the fact the berries used to make Herb Pharm’s extract are sorted and graded “1st quality” and the competitors are most likely made from lower grade or unsorted bulk material.

This is a great tincture for sleep support. I add a dropperful to 1 tsp of TerraSoul’s Ashwaghanda root powder and mix in water. This extract has a sweet tart taste which balances the bitter taste (I like bitter things) of TerraSoul’s product.
HerbPharm is a superior product. I have also used their LemonBalm Blend (which is super calming and tastes great) and their Kava (which I found to be very powerful in support during stressful events. I actually liked this tincture so much that I purchased a second tincture from the seller.

So I’m giving 3 stars because I haven’t taken long enough to judge the effects. However, I could literally pass out from how disgusting it tastes. I would guess being poisoned would be similar. I’m just hoping it’s supposed to tasted like this and I’m not slowly offing myself 😳🥺

I do notice a difference when I take it, but as expected the taste is not great. Mix it with something for sure.

I do believe I benefited from this. It is however, quite small for the price and you will run out quickly. I enjoyed the product and will most likely buy again sometime down the road. Schisandra makes me feel alert, concentrated, full of energy, and creative. I have tried a large handful of schisandra products ranging from powders, teas, raw berries, and tinctures. After gauging the quality of a handful of different schisandra products I can say that this was a good investment and was good quality. If you want to have healthier skin, greater mental functioning, more confidence, and a hightened libido, try schisandra. It is also one of the only herbs that contains all 5 flavors in traditional Chinese medicine and the only herb that will tonify and bring balance to the 3 treasures of healing in traditional chinese medicine. The three treasures are the Jing, The Qi, and the Shen. Research this and you will understand why schisandra is a favorite among st many healers.
