I’m familiar with holy basil in tea, capsules, and my own tinctures from holy basil I’ve grown in my yard. I thought to try this as a portable option I can keep at my desk or take on the go if I’m out, since I take holy basil as a general daily tonic.
The product comes in a dark glass bottle with a built-in dropper in the cap, and so far the cap works fine. The bottle was included in a package-sized white cardboard box with no writing whatsoever on it – only Amazon’s barcode sticker. The dosage recommendation on the bottle instructions reads 1-2ml daily, however, this hasn’t been converted to milligrams on the ingredients list to estimate a concentration of the liquid. How much holy basil is in 2ml of this product? That’s not provided. Also, potassium sorbate is a filler and I assume used as a preservative, although I believe an unnecessary one.

i use this in my skincare products and you can tell its potent. it gives a great soothing and brightening benefit to the cream i added it into. i love it and this is a very clean yet honest ingredient list. a lot of brands lie and say they dont use preservatives when they do, so i appreciate the transparency. i would definitely recommend this

I’ve used Holy Basil essential oil, and I was expecting this to be similar, but it’s an entirely different type of product. This is intended as a supplement versus a topical application. I’m unsure if this can also be used topically (I don’t see why not based on the ingredients). Adding this to water, there’s not that much of a taste. The glycerin adds some sweetness. I’ve not had any adverse effects from taking this.

And this herbal teenager is a good one to have in my arsenal in my cupboard. There are a lot of benefits that I enjoy from this teacher and I also love that it is not got sugar or alcohol. The taste is very clear and not muddled or too terrible. I usually add it to a little lemon water and it’s great. It’s easy enough to take straight under the tongue, but I prefer diluting it and adding it into a little bit of water. The bottle has clear instructions and ingredients. I haven’t really noticed any difference in pain or mood, but it seems like a high quality tincture.
