This is the highest quality pomegranate available. Much less sugar calories than drinking pomegranate juice, so one can take more. I use it against a very aggressive prostate cancer as part of a mix of supplements and prescription drugs. Although one cannot know for sure how much good the pomegranate alone does in fighting the cancer, the mix has kept the cancer at bay for over 8 years.

My blood pressure was and has been elevated for quite some time, averaging 140/90 to 150/92 each time visiting the Doc for follow up visits. I researched alternatives to taking prescription meds. I came upon the Pomegranate for various potential health issues. It had mentioned “high blood pressure.” Well, I started taking this approx 2 1/2 months ago. I double up from 45mcg to 90 mcg. I kept a journal of my home blood pressure readings until I saw my Primary Doc and he was amazed how my systolic and diastolic readings had dropped. I brought my “cuff” to compare with his “cuff” and we were compatible readings. I then told him about what I had been taking daily (the 90mcg) with a meal along with my Vitamin D3 and he had wanted to start me on a statin med. He changed his mind and said “just keep doing what you are doing, even though I am not into “natural healing” because obviously it is working for you. So, I did even more research into this and decided that the Life Extension brand is the optimal product for me. My friend said her Homeopathic Doc has Life Extension Products in his practice. I am on a very tight strict budget and yes, sometimes I wonder if I can continue to afford Life Extension’s prices. However, what price is worth my health, right or yours!!!! Thank goodness for Amazon and their shipping as I have dealt with another “shipper” and my packages were usually “lost” or never delivered!
Edit: 3-27-2024 This review was actually meant for the Vitamin K2 MK 7, not the Pomegranate Extract. I have also increased the dosage from 45 mcg to 135 mcg (total of 3 veg capsules.)

I took an expensive Polyphenol to my doctor because I was taking 1 a day to inhibit excess facial hair growth. The doctor exclaimed “this is just Pomegranite extract. I know Life Extension is great product so I bought this for $10 and “Yes” it does work also. I will keep buying it in a larger quantity.
I have no clue about the pain relief. Hmmm, I’ll have to research that one and try it for that.

I’m not certain this is actually pomegranate. I have no allergies to pomegranate or pomegranate juice. About a week after I started taking this I started having odd neurological symptoms: numbness, tingling and soreness on my whole left side of my body from head to toe. I saw 7 different doctors and had many medical tests all normal. One recommended I stop taking this product and when I did my sypmtoms got better and even disappeared. I wish I could have the thousands of dollars I spent on medical bills back. If you’re looking to supplement with pomegranate you’re better off drinking the actual juice. Nothing is a substitute for the real thing.

Took a chance on this product when I read that pomegranate can prevent illnesses, I have been taking it for nearly one month now and although I do not feel any different, I have not become sick either at a time of year that I typically would catch something from all the back-to-school type germs circulating in the community.
