I can only give a 2 star for this product. I heard some positive things about CBD oil, so I gave it a try for my Osteoarthritis The taste was good but it did not work for my arthritis pain..
My husband used the same product and he loves it because he said it worked for his Osteoarthritis pain.

I had an allergic reaction to this product including nasal congestion, sneezing, chest tightness, coughing, and an extremely itchy palate that has lasted for almost a week so far. The company was gracious to refund my money, but I thought I would share a bit here which might save other allergic people some suffering. I had been using Percoset for pain relief from severe osteoarthritis (no cartilage left) in my fingers and thumbs (I am a pianist and piano teacher). I was trying to find a natural alternative to the bone on bone pain. I tried a lower dose hemp oil from another company and it worked well. However, toward the end of the 3 weeks on it, I was starting to get mild allergy symptoms. I ordered this stronger 500mg version because I felt I needed more pain relief. However, my allergies went out of control immediately. For the record, I have severe allergies to mold, pollen, grasses, cat dander and dust mites. My IgE is around 600 (normal is under 100). My immunologist told me a few years ago that I should be living in a bubble and there are no more shots, pills or treatments to help me–just to avoid triggers. I am evidently allergic to hemp! I did some research and found that while this reaction had been considered rare, it is now being reported more frequently, probably due to so many people trying hemp products. Sadly, I may have to revert back to Percoset for pain. Just thought I’d post this in case other highly allergic people are considering hemp products. But for those who aren’t allergic, hemp oil is worth trying as an alternative to opioids.

Excellent product! I was very skeptical about CBD oil when my wife first suggested we try it, but now I’m a believer after 5 weeks of CBD use. We first tried another compound from a different supplier, and while it gave some positive results, it was not as concentrated as the Ultra6 product, and was much more expensive, and had a funky flavor. Ultra Hemp 500 is much superior, much more effective, and more pleasant to use (great taste). I have educated myself after researching CBD oils and their production, sat through a workshop, listened to pitches, and I can tell you that there are many hucksters and opportunists out there. This product is the real deal – the extraction method is a superior one, so the product is dependable. I have talked with people at the company and they are pleasant, no nonsense folks who provide a quality product at a reasonable price. The Ultra 500 not only helped my knee and back pain and arthritis in my hands, but it has also increased my range of motion and flexibility – something I didn’t expect. People actually comment on how much better I am moving around now. My sleep has improved, and I feel my moods have even regulated some (not a bad thing for an ornery old cuss) . I know it sounds too good to be true, but this is real. You do need to take it for about a week (in my experience) for it to kick in, but the effects are noticeable and grow. My friends at church and work now know about this product – I have recommended it to them wholeheartedly. I love this product and it is now my gold standard – I see no reason to buy another.

I’m generally skeptical of natural remedies on Amazon, just because the quality control etc varies so greatly, and many of the reviews are clearly written by the vendor. A friend recommended products from this company in the past, and I’ve been pleased with them. I’m a poor sleeper, tend to have some chronic pain (general back and leg pain, not severe but affects sleep quality) at night and also some mild anxiety. I take 10mg of Ambien 2-3x per week for a good night’s rest, but I don’t like some of it’s side effects, and I’d prefer not to take a sleep Rx. I tried this product for a week with no Ambien. First night or two, I wouldn’t say were great. Also probably feeling some insomnia from eliminating the Ambien. But the past few nights, I have fallen asleep easily, naturally. No notable pain or anxious mind. Just a natural drift into sleep, good night’s rest. I’ve had about 5 nights in a row like that, so I’m pleased so far. Will update after more time.
As to the flavor, well there’s only so much you can do to make “medicine” taste good. I wouldn’t call this pleasant tasting, but it’s certainly not terrible, and most OTC cold medicines are far worse. It is clearly an oil, and it tastes like a small shot of wheat grass with a mint infusion. Distinct, but really not bad at all. I think their flavor formulators did a pretty good job here, and it’s only a dropper full a couple of times per day. Good product, very pleased with Ultra6’s consistency.

I ORDERED THIS BECAUSE I HAVE A BROKEN BACK. THE PAIN PILLS DIDN’T SEEM TO HELP.SO, I ORDERED ULTRA HEMP 500MG OF HEMP EXTRACT. AFTER TRYING IT A FEW DAYS.I WAS SURPRISED IT RELIEVED ME OF THE PAIN I HAD. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WITH PAIN.
I ALSO PUT IT ON MY DOGS LEGS SHE HAS ARTHRITIS REALLY BAD IN HER FRONT LEGS.A FEW DAYS LATER WE NOTICE A DIFFERENCE.
