I had been wanting to try some high-quality disposable facial towels to add to my skincare routine when I came across these towels from Heritage Formulations. I received the New York pack of towels with the Hudson River on the packaging. The package itself is gorgeous and states on the front that it contains antimicrobial ionic silver, making it the perfect blend of form and function. I’m beyond impressed with the upgrade they bring to my daily skincare routine!

You know those name-brand facial tissues available at the local drug store that claim to contain “lotion”? These remind me of those because of how SOFT they are. For people with particularly dry or sensitive skin, the texture is lightweight and non-irritating. Wish it came it a larger multi-pack for better value.

I’ve used several different brands of these types of face cloths and this one is comparable to most. It’s a little smaller than some, slight smaller than a regular face tissue, but it has the strength of all of the ones I’ve used. It’s not the softest, but once it’s wet it works really well. It actually feels a lot softer once it’s wet. Dry, it has the texture and feel of a t-shirt, and while that’s not terrible, I’ve had much softer disposable face cloths. Overall it’s a good deal and it definitely helps remove my makeup without too much scrubbing.

I got these disposable facial wipes to replace old hand towels that I had been using in an effort to curb breakouts. No matter how much I washed/sanitized my fabric towels, they just felt funky after one use.
Now I am using these gentle facial towels that are made in Taiwan! They are long-lasting (I can use a portion of one to take off makeup, another corner for washing, and the last area to dry. These are soft cotton, and don’t irritate my face. One side is smooth and the other has little bobbles that provide exfoliation. The packaging is super cute and modern and something I don’t mind having sitting out in my bathroom.
The facial towels do not have any weird smells and have a generous expiration date of 2029. 80 towels is more than a two-month supply and a reasonable price point! When I am done using one, I simply put in my compost bin and it can break down naturally.
I am noticing my face is less red after washing and I am seeing a slowdown in any irritation/breakout issues.

About a year ago I started using disposable washcloths or facial towels everyday instead of a washcloth. I think that it is more hygienic and my skin seems to be clearer since making the switch. This is the fifth type that I have tried. I compared this to other similar products that I already own and it is in between the largest size and the smallest. There are two textures. One side is smooth and the other is also smooth feeling but has little bumps in the cloth. I like that because I think that it helps remove face masks better. It just seems to grip the product to make it easier to remove. This ranks very well with the other similar products that I have used. I like the packaging. I think that it makes it easy to dispense. This is a very large package so I think that it is a good value. The cloth itself holds up very well even to thick clay masks that have to be washed off of the cloth before you move to the next section of your face. You can wring this out and it still holds up. I really like these and would recommend.

These soft but very strong multi-use facial towels are great for wiping off oil-based cleansers, jelly masks, charcoal masks, and pretty much any other facial product that you don’t want dirtying your sink or clogging your pipes. The towels are gentle on skin. It’s not like a paper towel (and bear in mind regular cotton balls are too rough for my sensitive skin) but more like a very soft baby washcloth.
They also don’t disintegrate when wet like a paper towel eventually does. I let one soak in the tub after using it for cleansing, then wrung it out and let it dry to see how it would do. No joking, it was almost good as new. You can definitely reuse these if rinsed properly.
They are packed very tightly in the package and can be a bit cumbersome to pull out at first. I also could not find a slot or punch out area to dispense the towels and wound up cutting the side of the package. Only afterwards did I realize there is a small, unmarked perforation on the top. It’s partially blocked by a barcode sticker. I was able to tape the package back up and use it without issue, but use caution when opening it. The design on the side is really fun and you don’t want to ruin that.
Are they necessary? Not at all. A bit pricey? Perhaps, but note you can cut them in half, and of course in some cases they are reusable. But they are a cool product with a benefit I enjoy.

I use these with a cleanser to wash my face and remove makeup. They are so thick that I only need one wipe for both washing and drying. You can honestly use them more than one time too and although they are disposable they are also reusable. It’s nice because they dry a lot faster than regular wash cloths so they don’t get smelly and gross.
